The objective of this thesis is to build a simulink-based simulation environment and implement a DSP-based full-digital photovoltaic inverter. The simulation environment consists of a solar cell model and a maximum power point tracking model. To yield a good grid-connected performance, the proposed DSP-based photovoltaic inverter is including a full-bridge isolated DC/DC converter and a full-bridge DC/AC inverter. All the control algorithms, such as maximum power point tracking, DC/DC and DC/AC control methodologies, are implemented by software using TI digital signal processor TMS320LF2407. Finally, some experimental results are provided to verify the correctness of the 1kW grid-connected photovoltaic inverter.
