國中文理補習班教師教學困擾與因應方式之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討國中文理補習班教師教學困擾與因應方式,研究者聚焦在國中文理補習班教師面向,以便利取樣六位教師為研究對象,依據「國中文理補習班教師教學困擾與因應方式訪談大綱」作為研究工具,採半結構式訪談方式進行質性資料的蒐集,據此訪談結果提出建議,以提供補習班教師協助改善教學困擾,進而提升補習教育的教學品質。本研究獲得以下結論: 一、在個人條件上,補習班教師困擾的是體能健康、時間管理、外在形象與個人信念,因應方式是透過運動保健,善用時間管理分配,還有強化外在條件以及適度的情緒轉換。 二、在職前教育訓練上,補習班教師對於有無師資培育相關課程訓練問題,多半傾向認同研習師資培育相關課程訓練與專業知識上進修。 三、在專業知能上,補習班教師困擾的是個人專業能力問題,因應方式是同業同儕經驗分享、研讀相關文獻書籍或進修相關知識課程等。 四、在能力程度上,補習班教師困擾的是學生能力程度異質性大,因應方式是調整課程進度內容、順應學生能力程度、授課內容採均值化教學與課後加強輔導。 五、在學習態度上,補習班教師困擾的是學生學習動機薄弱,因應方式是柔性規勸與正向獎勵,以及引領學習動機等方法。 六、在教學影響上,補習班教師困擾的是家長質疑教師教學能力與家長託付額外工作事項,因應方式是專業能力的呈現以及良善的溝通協調與盡可能滿足家長其他面向的要求。 七、在配合態度上,補習班教師困擾的是家長關心學生學習程度低,因應方式是藉由補習班行政人員與家長溝通協調。 八、在學生管理上,補習班教師困擾的是學生班級秩序問題,因應方式是課堂上約束或協請行政人員管控。 九、在教學資源上,補習班教師困擾的是教具、教材設備不足情況,因應方式是自備教具、教材或是改變教學模式。 最後,依據結論對補習班教師、補習班業者及後續研究者提出建議做為參考。

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the teaching problems in junior high school science and language private tutors who work in the cram schools and how they deal with these problems. Using the outline of the difficulties in junior high school science and language private tutors who work in the cram school to have semi-structured interview with six tutors. In this study, providing the suggestions which are according to the result of the interview for the private tutors who work in the cram school and cram school managers. It is hoped that this study can make the difficulties they face can be improved and raise the teaching quality of private teaching. The conclusions of this study were as follow: 1. The difficulties private tutors meet are physical capabilities, time management, appearance and personal faith. The suggestions are to exercise to keep healthy, to be good at managing time,to improve more the external conditions and to manage emotion properly. 2. In Orientation Training, most private teachers tend to approve the courses which are associated with normal training and specialized knowledge. 3. The difficulty is teacher’s personal specialized ability. The suggestions are to discuss with the peers who have the same career, to study more research or to attend some courses which are associated with the teaching and so on. 4. The difficulty is students have disparity in ability. The suggestions are to adjust the teaching content or syllabus to fit the students’ level and to tutor student after the class. 5. The difficulty is the students’ motivation is not strong. The suggestions are to encourage the students more and to give them advice or method to learn. 6. The difficulties in teaching are the parents doubt the teacher’s teaching ability and parents ask the teacher to do extra things. The suggestions are to show the professional ability, to have a good communication with parents and to try the best to satisfy the parents’request. 7. The difficulty is parents have less care about their children’s learning. The suggestion is to communicate with parents through the cram school staff. 8. The difficulty in class management is the class’order. The suggestion is to educate students in the class or ask the cram school staff for help. 9. The difficulty in teaching resource is shortage of teaching equipment, teaching aid and teaching material in teaching area. The suggestion is to prepare personal teaching aid, teaching material or change teaching models. Last,it is hoped that this study can provide suggestions for private tutors who work in cram school, cram school manager and the following researchers as reference .
