以資料發掘技術探討影響學生使用虛擬教室之因素

摘要


網際網路的快速發展對人們的生活習慣帶來許多的便利同時也改變我們教育的方式。前只能透過報章、雜誌、書籍或課堂上來獲取知識,現在只要透過網際網路即可獲得他們想要的知識。 近年來,越來越多的老師透過網際網路上的虛擬教室平台,使得師生間的互動更加地方便。然而我們發現到一個有趣的現象,即使是使用同一個平台,有的虛擬教室使用率很高而有的使用率卻是很低的。 本論文提出以資料發掘技術來尋找出影響學生使用虛擬教室之因素。根據實驗結果顯示,我們得知影響學生使用虛擬教室之因素,老師因素占絕大的關係。

The progression of internet has bring much convenience in our daily lives and changed the educational environment. Long gone are the days when people get knowledge from newspaper, magazines, books, or traditional classroom resources. Today, people get on internet to find what they want to know. Recently, more and more teachers are using virtual classroom platforms on internet to facilitate the interaction between teachers and students. An interesting phenomenon was observed that there are relatively large differences in utilization of various virtual classes, even though use the same platform. This thesis applies data mining techniques to investigate the factors affecting students' use of virtual classrooms. The experimental results show that teachers are the most important factor in affecting students' use of classrooms.
