成型條件之交互作用對光碟機托盤翹曲的影響

The Effect of Molding Condition Interactions on the Warpage of Disc Player Tray

摘要


藍光光碟機托盤(Blu-ray disc player tray)的尺寸必須非常精確,以避免光碟資料讀取時造成錯誤,因此翹曲量必須控制在要求的精度範圍內。本研究利用Moldex3D軟體進行藍光光碟機托盤之CAE模擬分析,以田口方法(Taguchi method)之L32直交表配置因子及因子之間的交互作用(interaction),探討其對S/N比與翹曲變形(warpage)之影響。經由變異分析(analysis of variance)進一步研究因子及因子間交互作用之影響力,亦即信心水準(confidence level)。模具的構造為一模一穴之三板式冷流道模具,澆口型式為針點澆口。   研究結果顯示,影響S/N比之重要因子依序為:澆口數量、模具溫度、保壓時間、保壓壓力;而對S/N比具有影響力之因子間交互作用為:充填時間與塑料溫度、保壓時間與模具溫度、充填時間與流道直徑。此外,適當地調整充填時間、塑料溫度、澆口直徑、流道直徑及冷卻管路直徑的水準,能夠降低產品之翹曲量。然而冷卻時間及冷卻管路型式對S/N比與翹曲變形皆不具影響力,但是可以用來降低製造成本。

The dimension of Blu-ray disc player tray must be accurate enough so that the disc data can be read without mistakes. Thus, the warpage of Blu-ray disc player tray must be controlled in the range of accuracy requirement. In this paper, Moldex3D software was used to analyze the CAE simulation of the Blu-ray disc player tray. L32 orthogonal array of Taguchi method was introduced to deploy the factors and the factor’s interactions that affect on the S/N ratio and warpage. Furthermore, using analysis of variance investigates the significance of the factors and the factor’s interactions, i.e., the confidence level. The injection mold configuration was a three-plate cold runner mold, one cavity, and point gate type. Results show that the significant factors affect on S/N ratio including: the number of gates, the mold temperature, the packing time, and the packing pressure. The significant factor’s interactions are as follows: filling time with melt temperature, packing time with mold temperature, and filling time with diameter of runners. Moreover, adjusting the level of factors can reduce warpage of product, such as the filling time, the melt temperature, the diameter of gates, the diameter of runners, and the cooling channels diameter. However, the cooling time and the type of cooling channels do not affect on the S/N ratio and warpage, which can be used to decrease the manufacturing costs.
