新竹縣國民中學教師溝通恐懼之研究

A Study of Junior High School Teachers’ Communication Apprehensions in Hsin Chu County

摘要


本研究旨在探討新竹縣國中教師溝通恐懼源及其恐懼程度。本研究採用半結構式訪談法與問卷調查法。以新竹縣國中教師為研究對象,並以半結構式訪談後歸納之資料,自編「國民中學教師溝通恐懼之研究調查問卷」為研究工具。共發出731份問卷,回收有效問卷631份,有效問卷回收率86.3%。蒐集的資料以集中量數與變異量數、t檢定與單因子變異數分析和Scheffé事後比較等統計方法進行分析與處理,獲得以下結論: 一、新竹縣國民中學教師工作上的溝通恐懼源包括家長、行政主管、同事和學生等 四種對象。整體而言,新竹縣國中教師的溝通恐懼程度低於普通程度,不如預 期的高。 二、新竹縣國民中學教師溝通恐懼程度從「家長」方面來的相對最高、其次依序為「行政主管」 「同事」、「學生」。 三、面對家長「質問責任歸屬」與「情緒失控」的情境時,教師有較高程度的溝通恐懼。 四、新竹縣女性國中教師較男性國中教師有較高的溝通恐懼;此外,碩士以下學歷教師較研究所學歷教師、任教6-10年間的教師有較高的溝通恐懼。 五、兼行政職務教師、代理教師分別相較於不兼行政職務 教師、正式教師有較低的溝通恐懼。 六、新竹縣國民中學從學校背景而言,學校規模在30班(含)以下的教師、及偏遠地區學校的教師,有較低的溝通恐懼。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Communication Apprehension sources and the Communication Apprehension degree of Junior High School in Hsin Chu county. The Semistructured Interview and Questionnaire Survey Method were used. The subjects were the Junior High School Teachers in Hsin Chu county. The instrumentation contained the Semistructured Interview was used to form the questionnaire of Junior High School Teachers’ Communication Apprehension Sources. 731 questionnaires were distributed and 631 effective questionnaires which accounted for 86.3%. measures of central tendency, measures of variation, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA and Scheffé method were adopted and the conclusions were as follows: 1. Junior High School Teachers’ Communication Apprehensions Sources in Hsin Chu County including parents, executives, colleague and students. Overally the Communication Apprehension Degree of Junior High School Teachers in Hsin Chu County is not high as expected. 2.Of the Communication Apprehension Sources of Junior High School Teachers in Hsin Chu County, the highest degree of Communication Apprehension is “parents part”, followed by is “executive part”, “colleague part”, and “student part”. 3.Facing the situations of parents’ “ asking the attribution of responsibility” and“emotion out of control”, teachers have higher Communication Apprehension. 4.Female Junior High School Teachers in Hsin Chu County have higher Communication Apprehension than male Junior High School Teachers;besides,undermastereducationbackground teachers have higher Communication Apprehension than master education background teachers, the teachers between 6 and 10 years seniority in teaching, have higher Communication Apprehension. 5.Executive teachers , and substitute teachers, have lower Communication Apprehension than none-executive teachers and formal teachers. 6. From the school background of Junior High School in Hsin Chu County, under 30-class school scale teachers and the suburban district school teachers,have lower Communication Apprehension.
