現今無線通訊技術正快速成長,使得無線網路逐漸寬頻化、普及化,而現在PDA、Smart Phone 等產品整合了Cell Phone語音通訊與Note Book的數據功能。 網路電話(VoIP)的需求也就應蘊而生,本文將討論VoIP實作於PDA平台上所面臨的問題,將遭遇到的問題加以研究與討論。 VoIP 實作於 PDA 所遇到的問題及其解決方法: 1.PDA之效能與運算處理能力不足,無法負荷語音壓縮 G.729 的複雜運算處理,而未能達到real-time程度,所以將化簡 G.729 計算量來解決這問題。 2.測試 WiFi / 3G 的網路環境,是否已經可以達到語音封包的傳送需求。
The growing of Internet application likes crazy in the past. The growing of wireless Internet is hot recently. Thus, the PDA-based VoIP phone is researched and implemented in this thesis. Two research topics are analysized and designed. First, due to the limitation of computational power in the PDA platform, the algorithm of speech codec will be optimized. The real-time G.729 codec will be achieved and implemented in the general PDA platform. Secondly, the performance of WiFi and 3.5G will be analysized. The bandwidth, packet-loss, and packet-delay of WiFi, 3.5G and LAN will be analysized and the optimal parameters of Internet of PDA platform will be concluded and design.
