本研究在探討台灣企業外派人員至日本東京其適應情形。本研究透過文獻探討建立理論、研究架構並作為設計研究工具之依據,並以「問卷調查法」針對台灣在日本東京設有海外分公司或辦事處的廠商,涵蓋製造業、批發及零售業、資訊及通訊傳播業和金融及保險業等行業共162家。從中隨機抽取員工發放問卷調查,藉以探討台灣企業外派人員至日本東京的適應情形(包含工作、生活及互動適應)。共計發放400份正式問卷,經剔除無效問卷後,有效問卷計229份,有效問卷回收率為57.25%。正式問卷回收後分別以信度分析、因素分析、描述統計、卡方、t考驗、單因子變異數分析等相關等統計法進行資料處理,獲得以下主要結論: 一、不同背景變項,包括性別、年齡、在日服務年資、教育程度、現職行業別,對外派人員海外工作適應力有顯著差異。其中男性、年齡在22-40歲、在日服務年資2年、教育程度為專科、從事製造業者,其工作適應力較佳。 二、不同背景變項,包括性別、年齡、在日服務年資、教育程度、現職行業別,對外派人員海外生活適應力有顯著差異。其中男性、年齡在22-40歲、在日服務年資2年、教育程度為專科、從事製造業者,其生活適應力較佳。 三、不同背景變項,包括性別、年齡、在日服務年資、教育程度、現職行業別,對外派人員海外互動適應力有顯著差異。其中男性、年齡在22-40歲、在日服務年資2年、教育程度為專科、從事製造業者,其互動適應力較佳。 依據研究之主要發現與結論,研究者提出具體建議,以供未來研究者進一步研究之參考。
The aim of this study is to understand and analyze expatriates' general adjustment of Taiwanese enterprises in Tokyo, Japan. The hypothesis, framework and design of research tools of this study were established through different demographic data. The data of this study were collected by questionnaires, distributed to employees from 162 different Taiwanese branch offices located in Tokyo, Japan. These overseas branch offices belong to a variety of professions, including manufacturer, wholesale business, retailers, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), finance and insurance corporations. The participants of questionnaires were selected randomly to investigate Taiwanese Expatriates' General Adjustment (including aspects of job, general, and interaction) in Tokyo, Japan. A total of 229 valid questionnaires were collected out of the 400 issued with a legitimate return rate of 57.25%. The collected data were summarized and analyzed with Reliability Analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Descriptive Statistics, t-test, χ2 and One-way ANOVA. The following conclusions were acquired from the results. 1. Different demographic data, including gender, age, seniority in Japan, education level, current profession, have significant impacts on Taiwanese Expatriates' Job Adjustment. To be specific, participants who possess the following attributes, i.e., males, 22-40 years old, 2 years of seniority in Japan, or junior college degree working in manufacturer companies, have better adjustment. 2. Different demographic data, including gender, age, seniority in Japan, education level, current profession, have significant impacts on Taiwanese Expatriates' General Adjustment. To be specific, participants who possess the following attributes, i.e., males, 22-40 years old, 2 years of seniority in Japan, or junior college degree working in manufacturer companies, have better adjustment. 3. Different demographic data, including gender, age, seniority in Japan, education level, current profession, have significant impacts on Taiwanese Expatriates' Interaction Adjustment. To be specific, participants who possess the following attributes, i.e., males, 22-40 years old, 2 years of seniority in Japan, or junior college degree working in manufacturer companies, have better adjustment. Based on above research results, several suggestions were offered for further studies.
