爵士鼓靈感紀錄應用程式互動介面設計研究以 “Dr.Helper－Rock Kit”為例

摘要

本研究旨在解決爵士鼓手在靈感記錄上所發生的問題。藉由設計創作與評估探討本研究所發展的靈感記錄方式是否能滿足爵士鼓手在記錄上的需求。爵士鼓手是樂團中的靈魂之一，控制樂曲的節奏與力度，但爵士鼓體積龐大無法隨身攜帶，以致爵士鼓手不能隨時隨地準確地記下靈感；利用iPad平板電腦高度的可攜性與軟體支援性，將帶給爵士鼓手紀錄靈感的新契機，因此，本研究以為，在iPad上開發一套爵士鼓靈感紀錄應用程式，將有助於解決爵士鼓手在靈感紀錄上所發生的問題。本研究透過前導研究，整理出爵士鼓手靈感紀錄應用程式的設計原則，分別為：1. 具視聽覺回饋的記錄方式2. 靈感管理 3. 爵士鼓樂理圖形操作介面 4. 樂器分軌編輯5. 操作回饋 6. 以4拍為單位 7. 以曲風分類 8. 載體易於攜帶。並依此原則創作出一款iPad應用程式Dr.Helper－Rock Kit；再以觀察法與問卷量表驗證其使用性。而研究結果顯示，Dr.Helper－Rock Kit的使用性符合專家標準，表現形式也滿足爵士鼓手在靈感記錄上需求。

Drummers, who must control tempo and occasionally select songs, play an essential role in most bands. However, drum kits are often too heavy to carry, leading drummers to record their ideas inaccurately. In 2010, the iPad signaled a turning point for optimal drum recording. The iPad not only demonstrates portability, but also obtains applications easily. Therefore, developing an ideal recording application for drummers should resolve the problem. Based on preliminary research, this study created a design principle for drumming innovations and recording to develop an iPad application, “Dr.Helper -Rock Kit.” The design principle includes the following: (1) audio-visual feedback; (2) idea management; (3) graphic music theory user interface; (4) multi-music track edit; (5) operating feedback; (6) four beats as a section; (7) music genre; and (8) portable hardware. Based on observation and results from a questionnaire, this study verifies the application’s usability. Finally, the concept and usability of the Dr.Helper - Rock Kit are consistent with drummer requirements when recording ideas.
