摘要

過去傳統的零售業者並沒有一個好的工具可以統計商品的庫存，隨著電腦系統的進步，零售業界開始嘗試使用電腦來管理店面的商品。POS系統的發展經過一代、二代、三代到目前第四代，POS系統是擁有觸控螢幕多功能一體機（Touch POS），現已成為市場主流。
　　企業資源計劃系統是一個建立在資訊技術基礎上的系統化管理思想，為企業決策層級員工提供決策執行手段的管理平台。資料庫管理系統是為管理資料庫而設計的電腦軟體系統。
　　本文以SWOT分析為架構，波特（Porter）的五力分析概念為輔，針對A公司的經營策略進行外部環境分析，這包括了總體環境分析及商業信息系統產業的趨勢分析，進而瞭解A公司面臨的機會與威脅。最後，是個案公司研究與個案公司策略分析，瞭解個案公司優勢與劣勢，研擬個案公司可行性策略及未來經營策略計劃之建議與研究結論。

Point of sale (also called POS or checkout, during computerization later becoming electronic point of sale or EPOS) is the place where a retail transaction is completed. Early electronic cash registers (ECR) were controlled with proprietary software and were limited in function and communications capability. Since 1992 a wide range of POS applications have been developed on platforms such as Windows and Unix.
　　The advent of cloud computing gave birth to the possibility of POS systems to be deployed as Software as a service. Cloud-based POS systems are different from traditional POS largely because user data, including sales and inventory, are not stored locally, but in a remote server. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is business management software—usually a suite of integrated applications—that a company can use to store and manage datafrom every stage of business. ERP provides an integrated real-time view of core business processes, using common databases maintained by a database management system. ERP systems track business resources—cash, raw materials, production capacity—and the status of business commitments: orders, purchase orders, and payroll. The applications that make up the system share data across the various departments (manufacturing, purchasing, sales, accounting, etc.) that entered the data. ERP facilitates information flow between all business functions, and manages connections to outside stakeholders.
　　This thesis is based on the SWOT analysis (SWOT matrix) and Porter (Michael e. Porter) five forces concepts of analysis.It has included the environments analysis and the trends of business information systems (POS/ERP/DB), so that to understand the opportunities and threats of A company. From the conclusions of research , it has offered a lot of the suggestions of management strategies.
