Based on the principle of two-phase heat transfer, sintered vapor chambers were made with different powders and parameters. Besides, the performance of the vapor chambers was also discussed in this research. At first, different powder was sintered with variable parameters; factors of wick, including shrinkage, porosity, and permeability were discussed. According to the result of studying, the wick in vapor chambers was fabricated and analyzed the vapor chamber performance, involving in thermal response and heat resistance. Factors affecting permeability in wicks, shapes of powders are more influential than that of temperature and time; in the discussion of heat resistance, the power of the round-shape powder is higher than that of arborzation shape powders. In the aspect of thermal response performance, the arborzation wick is better than round-shape powder. In this study, the inter-relationship will be explained by theory.
