二摺與三摺傘收摺機構之創新設計與評估

Innovative Design and Evaluation of Folding Mechanisms for Two-Section and Three-Section Folding Umbrellas

摘要


因體積輕巧且攜帶便利的原因,摺疊傘深受人們喜愛與重視,但常因強風而導致傘具損毀,目前雖有改良傘骨材質而達到抗風之傘具,但仍未見到針對縮小收摺體積及抗翻轉之收摺傘骨構造的研究。因此,本研究的目的即在於藉由收摺機構之創新設計與評估,能有效的統整且評比出最佳的收摺傘骨機構設計。 本研究利用創造性機構設計方法,針對二摺與三摺摺疊傘進行有系統的機構創新設計,提供摺疊傘所有可能的收摺機構構造,並加以評估分析。首先參考現有專利摺疊傘構造,歸納出設計需求與限制條件,再根據創造性機構設計方法與步驟,得到六桿七接頭的一種新型特殊化運動鏈,及八桿十接頭的九種新型特殊化運動鏈之可行的摺疊傘傘骨構造;再根據上述所合成之結果,具體化六桿七接頭與八桿十接頭之所有可行的摺疊傘骨機構。接著利用ADAMS軟體檢驗所有的可行機構,然後在相同的傘面水平投影面積與風力作用情況下進行評估,其評比的優劣準則是依收摺長度與接頭最大反力進行比較,依此提出最佳的收摺傘骨機構設計。研究結果發現,除了雙滑件之八桿十接頭的二摺傘最佳收摺機構為創新之外,其它所有最佳的二摺與三摺傘收摺機構,皆已經出現在現有的專利中。

Due to the advantages of easy to fold and carry, folding umbrella has become very popular. However, it is very common to see a folding umbrella destroyed by strong wind. Though there are some improvements on the material used for folding mechanisms in order to strengthen the ability to stand against wind force, we haven’t seen any research on reducing folding volume and the rib structure to stand against wind force in the literature. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to systematically obtain innovative designs and evaluate all potential folding mechanisms, and then pick up the best designs from them. Based on the method of Creative Design of Mechanical Devices, this study carries the creative design of mechanisms for two-section and three-section of folding umbrella, and presents all possible structures of folding umbrella mechanisms. This study also analyzes and evaluates those mechanisms. Firstly, this study reviewed the related literature and patents to obtain the design requirements and constraints of folding umbrella. Secondly, by following the procedure of Creative Design of Mechanical Devices, we obtained one new type of specialized kinematic chain for six-link-seven-joint, and nine new types of specialized kinematic chains for eight- link-ten-joint available for the rib structures of folding umbrella. Based on the results from synthesizing the potential folding mechanisms for the umbrella using six-link seven-joint, eight-link ten-joint, all those potential folding mechanisms are particularized. Then, the feasibilities of those mechanisms are examined by ADAMS software. Thereafter, the evaluation is performed under the conditions of same horizontal projected area and same wind force. The criteria for the comparison between those mechanisms are the folding length and the maximum reaction force at joint of each mechanism. The results of better designs are presented by applying the criteria. The results show that, except the best design of the two-section folding umbrella of eight-link–ten-joint with two sliders is innovative, all the other best designs from evaluations could be found in the existed patents.
