台灣鋼結構業經營模式關鍵成功因素

The Study of key factor in business model with steel structure industry in Taiwan

摘要


鋼結構業是鋼鐵工業重要的顧客關聯性產業,具有帶動其他相關產業發展的關鍵特性,是一勞力、技術、資金密集的產業。台灣鋼鐵公會在2007年主要消費量統計,年使用量佔國內總需求量14%,對台灣鋼鐵產業有深度的重要性。但其產業深受營建業榮枯景氣及國內公共工程投資狀況以及電子業是否擴建廠房影響,為重度內需型產業。而近年營建景氣低迷,廠商銷價競爭下,業者被迫減價接單,形成惡性循環,企業該如何改善,成為當務之急。 綜觀目前國內外文獻對鋼結構業的相關研究,多針對製程品質及效率的改善或是管控作業進行研究。然而在競爭如此激烈的紅海市場中,如何能發展出與眾不同的特色,才是鋼構業者能提升本身競爭力的最佳途徑。由此可知,企業應該要先檢視其價值鏈流程,找出企業的關鍵核心因素,進而做到與其他對手的差異化,成為市場的領先者。因此,本研究將透過鋼結構業的價值鏈流程,分析出可能影響鋼結構業的決策因素,在利用層級分析法(AHP)建構台灣鋼結構業關鍵成功因素模型,以找出台灣鋼結構業的關鍵成功因素,並希望以此模式提供給業界做為參考及後續研究之依據。

The steel structure industry is one of the major customer-oriented industries. The industry is of labor, technology and capital intensity that are key features to facilitate the development of the other related industries, which makes itself an important role in steel and iron industry in Taiwan. According to consumption statistics made by Taiwan Steel and Iron Industries Association in 2007, the steel structure industry accounts for 14% of the aggregate domestic demand that has a profound influence on Taiwan’s steel and iron industry. However, it is also a domestic demand industry that is highly dependent on the prosperity of the construction industry, the investment in public construction and plant expansion plans of the electronics industry. In recent years, because of the recession of the construction market, most manufacturers tended to win orders by cutting prices. Yet, the whole process has become a vicious cycle. Consequently, how to solve the problem has become the top priority for local enterprises. Current literature in Taiwan or abroad on the steel structure industry is dedicated to research into the improvement of quality and efficiency in the process or focuses on the control operation. However, facing such a high competition, enterprises in the industry of steel structure must create new demand in an uncontested market space by developing brand-new characteristics. As a result, businesses should examine their value chain process to find out the core element that distinguishes themselves from the others so that they can take the lead. Therefore, this study is aimed for those decisive factors in an industry by analyzing the value chain process of steel structure industry and then use AHP to derive a model with possible success-determining variables for businesses in Taiwan as both a reference point and a basis for future research.
