The purpose research was to discuss alternative education program of junior high school in Taipei County. Administrators, homeroom teachers, lecture teachers and students who accept the program service in two schools were interviewed in this case study. The findings are as the following: 1. This aims of program on both the target students’ returning to school and their completion of the compulsory junior high school education. 2. The screening mechanisms functionally provide the target students in need with settlement. 3. The arrangement of this curriculum based on the target students’ demands. 4. The teachers’ teaching is on the basis of the relations between teachers and students. 5. The discipline is clear in class, and the class is harmonious. 6. The students retrieve their interests in learning, and they learn more happily. 7. The students are changing their behaviors by degree, and both the teachers and the school also obtain great benefits. 8. The program faces some barriers and there are some problems needed to be solved immediately. Finally, based on literature reviews and the research findings, the suggestions are proposed for education administrations, sponsor school, and the future researchers.
