碩士生於研究所就學階段,需承受課業、論文、教授以及未來職業選擇和規劃等生活壓力,此時只要有適當的社會支持以協助碩士生因應生活壓力,才能有效降低生活壓力所帶來的負面影響。而且,增加對碩士生的社會支持,除了有助於減低生活壓力所帶來的負面影響外,亦有利增加碩士生的幸福感。 因此,本研究欲探討碩士生的生活壓力、社會支持與幸福感之間的關係,以北部地區大學校院的碩士生為研究對象,採用比例分層隨機抽樣方式進行問卷調查,總計發放520份調查問卷,回收426份,有效問卷402份,有效回收率為77.31%。本研究獲致下列結論: 一、碩士生的生活壓力感受程度雖不高,惟生涯發展壓力則偏高。 二、碩士生有充足的社會支持,不過老師的支持程度則相對較低。 三、碩士生具有正向的幸福感。 四、男性碩士生有較高的人際壓力,且社會支持相對較少。 五、不同背景之碩士生其幸福感無顯著差異。 六、碩士生的生涯發展壓力、學習壓力、家人的支持與同學朋友的支持對幸福感有預測力。 七、碩士生的社會支持無法調節生活壓力對幸福感的負向影響。
Master’s students need to face life stress from schoolwork, thesis, professors, career selection, and career planning while still at school. If provided with adequate social support, they can better cope with life stress and effectively reduce the negative impact of life stress. Increase of social support for master’s students can not only reduce the negative impact of life stress but also increase the students’ well-being. Therefore, this study investigated the relationship of life stress, social support, and well-being among master’s students. In the research, the research subject was the master’s students in north Taiwan, and the proportionate stratified random sampling method was utilized. 520 questionnaires were sent out to master’s students in north Taiwan. At last, 402 usable questionnaires were collected from 520 returned questionnaires. The valid response rate was 77.31%. The main findings are as follows: 1.Master’s students perceive an intermediate level of life stress but a slightly higher level of stress from career development. 2.Social support for master’s students is sufficient, but support from teachers is relatively low. 3.Master’s students have positive perceptions of well-being. 4.Male master’s students have more interpersonal stress and are given less social support. 5.No significant difference in well-being exists among master’s students from different backgrounds. 6.Stress from career development, learning, support of family, classmates and friends have predicting power for well-being. 7.Social support for master’s students cannot moderate the negative impacts from life stress to well-being.
