以資訊技術建構台灣地區成年女性膚質老化程度之預測模型

摘要


人體皮膚老化速率是指皮膚的生理功能在經歷了諸多複雜因素的影響以及累積之後所呈現一連續性退化過程。過去的研究發現,加速皮膚老化速率的因素有:生物體的內在因素(如:遺傳基因、身體質量數變化、月經週期、疾病史、更年期)、外在環境與天候氣象因素(如:慢性日光曝曬的經驗)、社會文化型態與個人生活習性(如:飲食與運動習慣、接觸染髮劑經驗、個人皮膚清潔保養習性)等。因此根據皮膚生理學與皮膚影像特徵辨識之標準化檢測模型所獲得之分析結果才是推估膚質老化程度的重要指標。 本論文自2004年02月起,迄至2005年04月止,收集台灣地區北(207人)、中(60人)、南(71人)、東(24人)、東北(27人)各區之社區居民,並與各醫院美容中心或皮膚科合作,以設立檢測站採被動式取樣法,徵得受測者同意進行檢測分析。以Courage&Khazaka Cutometer MPA580皮膚分析儀進行皮膚生理學檢測,分別有:皮膚彈性、黑色素、紅色素、經皮水分散失、表皮水分含量、酸鹼值、表皮油脂量等七項測值,藉此建立台灣地區人體膚質資料庫;再輔以問卷調查個人基本資料、日常生活型態、個人及家族醫療疾病史、美容史以及個人皮膚清潔保養習性等九十八種變項,俾利深入探討影響國人膚質老化之相關因子。此外,關於皮膚影像處理的流程,則是在控制拍攝環境之光源、拍攝位置、色彩校正等標準化條件下,以數位攝影機擷取受測者全臉、左臉頰及右臉頰等三個區位之皮膚影像,以為皮膚影像特徵辨識及分類之基礎。 本論文應用SAS統計軟體將所獲得之國人皮膚生理學檢測數據、皮膚影像及膚質影響因子等三大資料庫,分別進行分析,單變項有t檢定、變異數分析、相關等,以及多變量則有相關、因素分析及標準複迴歸分析;依序建構了膚質老化測量系統與膚質老化因子相關指標,最後再整合此兩項量測系統,完成了台灣地區成年女性膚質老化程度預測模型之建構。 不論是探討皮膚生理結構與其功能性,抑或致力於搜尋影響膚質老化的相關因子;最終目的乃期望藉由研究結果的發表,為全人類創造既美觀又愉悅的生活品質。而本研究所建構之標準化檢測流程、分析方法、膚質老化分數為台灣地區首度嚐試,足以做為後續研究發展之重要參考。

Skin aging is a complex and continuous process that affects skin functions and appearance. The aging process may result from intrinsic, environmental, chronic sun exposure, lifestyle habits and gene factors contributing to the pace of skin aging. This study aims to construct predicting models for women skin aging quality by determining skin physiological attributes and images of women along with their lifestyle variables and historical medical conditions. The main objective of this study is to construct standard protocol for skin testing procedure and to build up database for academic research and industrial applications. This study subjects will be sampled from residents visiting department of dermatology in hospital for reason other than severe dermatological problem on face. The distribution of samples will be proportionately from five parts of Taiwan such as North, Middle, South, Northeast, and East. All samples will be recruited cross-sectionally with volunteer basis. This study has collected 389 female subjects from five distinguished regions of Taiwan ,counted as 207 in North, 60 in Middle,71 in South, 27 in Northeast, and 24 in East. The physiological attributes were included as viscoelasticity, melanin, erythema, transepidermal water loss, skin surface hydration, PH measurement, sebum on the skin surface, which were taken by Courage&Khazaka cutometer MPA 580. Visible front- and side- view facial images were taken using a digital camera standardized by positioning fixation and color correction to ensure consistency of images processing. Skin expert system,commercial digital image software, and statistics procedures were applied to manage major features of skin surface for further modeling. The predicting model has shown that skin aging is affected by many factors such as body mass index, menopausal status, environmental, chronic sun exposure, history of hair dye, methods of daily skin care, skin color, and skin characteries.Regional variations were observed in this study, which showed diversified patterns for skin physiology and aging in various living environment regardless of their living styles. With the helps of information technologies, the skin aging can be predicted precisely and further interventions are diagnosable from the model. The study produce results which may impact greatly for dermatology and beauty industry in the future.
