視覺系統在鑽石工業的應用研究

摘要


本論文針對鑽石工具生產製造業之生產過程中,尋求可應用或可行性之視 覺系統進行研究探討。 目前鑽石工具生產製造業中,現有已知的視覺系統: 1.以視覺系統自動檢測(分類)鑽石燒結齒之尺寸,精度±0.02mm 2.顯微視覺系統檢測鑽石眼模之中孔(0.13mm以下),精度±0.2μ 3.顯微視覺系統檢測金屬粉末之粒度大小及分佈性,最小尺寸精度0.2μ 4.顯微視覺系統觀測雷射鑽石穿孔機之工件位置 5.顯微視覺系統觀測鑽石工具成品外觀狀況(鑽石浮露狀態) 使用鑽石磨料製成之工具,其主要功能發揮與否,常在於鑽石磨料之浮露 程度(protrusion)及鑽石磨料之分佈性(distribution)是否恰當。鑽石磨 料的浮露狀況一般實驗結論,以磨料粒徑大小的約25-35%最為恰當,量測 的方法有使用量表量取、電子微分表量法、表面粗度器量測、顯微鏡對焦 量測、其他面粗度量測方法、或肉眼觀測比對判斷等方法。 本研究所要使用的方法,則以CCD加上顯微鏡頭,直接擷取一鑽石工具磨 料層表面及鑽石磨料之影像,利用程式計算,直接判讀其浮露程度。在本 研究中以快速的取像及簡單的程式運算,得到鑽石磨料浮露度,可以確保 製造鑽石工具之成品檢查中,避免人為之主觀判斷,以機器視覺之一定準 則之判定,得到一定程度之浮露度品質水準。

Diamond tool is the most useful tool for hard-working materials, such as concrete, asphalt, all sorts of stones and glasses, optical glass, harden alloy, tungsten carbide, etc. For mass production of diamond tools, more reliable inspection instrument will be needed. Although there are some of machine vision system available for diamond tools inspection, we are still looking for easier and more convenient way of using machine vision system for inspecting the process of diamond tool manufacturing. Performance of diamond tool is based on proportionate protrusion and distribution of diamond grit. Normally we provide about 25 to 35% of protrusion for the final inspection of diamond tools. There are 5 known methods for the measurement of protrusion: dial gage, electrical dial gage, surface-roughness measuring, focusing by microscope and manual comparison. A different method is proposed in this research, which is the fastest and the easiest. In this research, we use a CCD camera to obtain diamond tool image. The software can calculate protrusion of diamond grit after this image of diamond tool post-processed. This method is the fastest and the easiest process without manual judgement. It can ensure the protrusion quality of finish goods in certain range.
