以社會能供性觀點探討資訊科技認知對合作意願影響之研究

摘要


組織溝通是為了達到組織目標而產生,因此組織溝通也被視為訊息相互交換以及協同合作的歷程。媒介選擇與組織溝通之相關研究指出,選擇適當的媒介妥善運用,將能提升組織成員的溝通效能,進而提升組織成員彼此在工作上的凝聚力。過去的媒介選擇相關理論在分析上著重於媒介本身的特質,於理性選擇的觀點之下,強調媒介和溝通任務之間的配合。爾後,有別於單向式的解釋個人的媒介使用行為,資訊科技社會能供性的概念認為科技特性將影響人們選擇與他人聯繫的可能性。組織行為同質性的相關研究指出,深層價值觀、認知的契合度,是影響雙方能否建立良好互動關係的重要因素。當資訊科技能供性的認知不同時,可能導致不同的溝通效能,互動時能獲得的資源及機會也將有所別,須以社會能供性的角度來理解,才不會落入科技決定論的迷思。 本研究以某公司的整合行銷業務部門為樣本,採個人中心網絡提名的網絡分析法,探討溝通雙方對資訊科技能供性的認知對協同合作意願之影響。在母體26人回收20人的結果下進行分析。研究結果發現,處理相同或不同的工作任務時,成員對媒介物理特性的認知不盡相同。資訊科技的社會能供性,在不同的溝通任務上確實產生不同的意義,而媒介認知的契合度,將是影響雙方能否建立良好互動關係的重要因素,人們會考量自己知覺到的資訊科技能供性來選擇媒介,而影響與他人聯繫的可能性,因此當資訊科技所能提供的不同服務內容有差異時,社會機會也會不同。

Organizational communication is a progress of information exchange and collaboration. The studies about media choice in organizational communication indicate that as long as the members use the suitable media to communicate with each other, the communicative efficiency will be approved and the contagion of the members will be promoted. In the past, the theories of CMC adoption focused on how the CMC fixed the tasks under the view of rational choice. Informational technology affordance emphasized that the relation between the IT characteristics and communicative tasks. However different kinds of media could be used to deal with the same affairs. Thus the social information processing theory pointed that the media choice behavior will be influenced by subjective cognition. When the network members have different IT cognitions, the resource and chance that exist in the interaction will be different. In this dissertation, I want to know how the IT affordance cognition effects the collaboration awareness, and ego-centric name generator network analysis is proposed to be examined. 20 questionnaires were collected from one department of a company. In this study, different IT affordance cognition is proved. The members have different IT affordance cognition when they deal with the same or different tasks. It means that as the members have different IT affordance cognition, different social affordance opportunities will be produced.
