當導入企業資源規劃系統(Enterprise Resource Planning System,ERP)已成為企業作業流程的基礎後,隨著商業環境的快速變遷,原有的ERP系統就顯得不足以支援企業流程的改變,以及為因應企業全球運籌管理的需要, ERP軟體版本的升級就成為企業如何在此一競爭激烈的環境中,保持競爭優勢的重要的課題。 本研究以高科技的電子業H公司、W公司及S公司為研究對象,分別以個案研究的方式進行。針對影響ERP軟體版本升級的三類因素:企業組織、人員以及ERP軟體版本本身的差異等因素進行探討。 分析研究的結果主要有幾項發現:ERP版本升級時機主要是ERP軟體供應商不再支援舊版本的維護、高階主管的支持是ERP版本升級的必要條件、部門間的認同有賴溝通與共識的建立、教育訓練增強部門間的認同、預算為專案進行前的考量點、確定進行升級專案後預算的控制與專案範疇是否明確息息相關、專案範圍的明確性影響時程的控制、顧問公司的選擇注重在顧問公司的實務經驗以及ERP版本的差異影響升級專案的範圍與難易度。
It has become the trend of global industries to manage business processing using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. To meet the rapidly changing commercial environment and the need to keep the lead in competitive business, research on sustaining improvement in the process has become the most important topic in ERP system developing. Such a complicated system as the ERP requires companies to invest large amounts of manpower, resources, and capital to constantly upgrade it. The constant pressure of choosing the right time to upgrade is immense, as some system must be in place at all times. Months to a year of advance preparation must occur before a company can safely upgrade. When manpower and resources are limited, more efficient methods of upgrading must be taken into consideration. The research results indicated the major factors to effect the upgrade of ERP system are : the ERP vendor is no more support the old revision , the top management can to promote the team members’ collaboration and satisfaction, the budget and the schedule control are effected by the clear and definite of the project scope. The standard of how to decide consultant is according to the experience of consultant. The difference between the old version and the new version will affect the scope and the difficult ERP upgrade project.
