In this study, home-made membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) with commercial PbO2 powder were used to investigate their performance as anode in ozone generation via water electrolysis. We found that degrade phenomena happened for current interruption during operation period for commercial MEA and the recovery goes gradually along with current input once more. PbO2 powders were synthesized and their crystalline structures before and after current interruption were compared with those MEA made from commercial powders. Used home-made of lead dioxide film electrode group used in this experiment. Using SEM and XRD to observe the anode structure of home-made and commercial MEA when it operate at long time and short-time of interrupted current conditions.
