無線網路在近幾年來大幅改變了人們對於區域網路的使用方式,其中無線網狀網路(WMN)是一種可快速佈署就可使用的無線網路架構。它是一種可以任意擴充或縮小規模的網路,對於如何實現無線網狀網路的維護及監測是一個重要的議題。 本論文將對無線網狀網路節點本身的狀態及各節點間的鏈結品質做一研究,包括各種路由協定所參考的相關指標,另外也將描述如何偵測及收集各節點之相關狀態及指標值。最後將實際開發一個系統,能夠即時監測無線網狀網路上各節點的狀態及其相鄰節點間的每一個連線的真實性能(Throughput)。 能夠將收集到的資訊整合到後端以供管理者做為網路維護及自我檢測之用,另外也希望能將每一個連線的真實傳輸性能當作一個重要的指標提供給路由演算方法做為改善路由效能之用。
Wireless network has significantly changed application manners of local area network. Of which, Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a framework of wireless network which can be used immediately after rapid configuration. Its feature being able to be expanded or reduced arbitrarily in network scale is an important issue for realizing maintenance and surveillance of WMN. This thesis aims to investigate state of network nodes of WMN and quality of linkage between nodes, including relevant indexes referred by various routing protocols. In addition, it demonstrates detection and collection of relevant state and index values of the nodes. Finally, it develops a system for real-time surveillance on state of each node on the WMN and real throughput of each link of its neighboring node. In this way, the data collected can be integrated and conveyed to back end for the sake of network maintenance and self-test by the administrator. It is expected that real transmission throughput of each link serves as an important index for routing algorithm and to improve routing performance.
