Dengue fever is a viral disease that affects 50-100 million people annually and is one of the most important emerging infectious diseases in many areas of the world. Currently, neither specific drugs nor vaccines are available. According to many studies in the literatures, some compounds containing the quinoline or quinazoline skeleton possess activity against dengue virus. In this study, quinoline and quinazoline were used as the main framework to synthesize a series of compounds containing 1.2.3-triazole for anti-dengue virus activity screening. The preliminary screening results showed that compounds 16c, 17c, 24a exhibited significant anti-dengue viral activity. Subsequently, compounds 26a – 28c and 30a – 32c, modified to Chalcone skeleton, were tested for their anti-dengue virus activity and their structure-activity relationship was investigated.
