A.C. Quatremere de Quincy《建築歷史辭典》詞彙中建築操作論述之研究
A Study on the Discourse of Architectural Manipulation from the Terms of A.C. Quatremere de Quincy’s Historical Dictionary of Architecture
摘要
Antoine Chrysostome Quatremere de Quincy為法國的建築、藝術、考古與雕刻理論學家。他自1784年起受Charles Joseph Panckoucke（1736-1798）的委託開始編篡《建築歷史辭典》，該書為反映十八世紀末至十九世紀中Quatremere de Quincy與當時代建築學者觀點的著作。 本研究即以Samir Younes翻譯自《建築歷史辭典》的著作The True, the Fictive, and the Real: the Historical Dictionary of Quatremere de Quincy（2006）為文本，由當中的七十七個詞彙中挑選出建築、建築師、古代、模仿、複製、習俗、類型、個性與風格等九個詞彙， 並將它們區分為建築的基礎觀念、操作方式與呈現結果三個不同的建築發展階段，以此探討他在建築的起源與發展、建築的教育方式、對建築複製與模仿的操作手段與準則、以及最終表現於建築外在形貌的歸納等觀念，藉由解析Quatremere de Quincy對這些詞彙的闡釋、追溯其觀點並比較彼此之間的差異，進一步整合由這三者所建構出的建築操作體系。 透過這三個發展階段的整合，即可發現Quatremere de Quincy的建築操作論述在尊崇古典原則的架構下保有自身的獨創性，以滿足人們對建築作品在外在形式與內在感知的雙重需求。
