北極氣候影響評估的報告表示,人類活動引發氣候變化是導致北極地區氣候變化影響的核心原因,因此各國紛紛針對此採取對二氧化碳減量的措施來抑制氣候變化造成更大的影響。長期以來台灣運輸部門一直高度依賴石油產品,在運輸部門中公路運輸能源消耗統計所佔比重最大,也為二氧化碳排放的主要來源。除了加速耗費石化能源外,亦對環境造成更大的衝擊。故本研究以高雄都會區為對象,調查主要幹道路網之交通量特性,應用TSIS交通模擬軟體分析輕軌路網規劃前後減少私人運具使用後之績效,並加以計算二氧化碳排放及減量情況。經由模擬證實使用大眾運輸系統以抑制私人運具使用,確實能有效達到節能與二氧化碳排放減量之目標。
As reported by North Pole Climate Effect Evaluation, it is human activities that lead to climate change in north pole area. Therefore, many countries try to reduce CO2 to prevent more serious disaster. As a long time, The transport sector in Taiwan depends on petroleum product, especially highway transport that takes the most part of energy consuming is the primary source of CO2 emissions. It not only hastes the energy consumption but also makes huge impact on our environment. This paper investigates the traffic of major road in Kaohsiung, and then uses TSIS to simulate the impact of light rail system on private vehicle usage. The result of simulation can be used to calculate the CO2 mitigation. According to the experimental evidence, using Mass Transportation System to restraint private vehicles use will be effectively to mitigate CO2.
