台灣螺絲製造廠商知識擷取實務之探討─以A 公司為例

摘要


在激烈競爭與動盪變遷的商業營運中,「知識」已經是知識經濟時 代中不可或缺的重要資產,甚至是競爭的主要武器;而在弱勢的傳統產業中,技術知識是企業活動所需的一種重要知識類型,而核心知識多存在於一些資深員工中,故對於台灣大多數以製造代工(OEM)或設計代工(ODM)為主的企業,如何將資深員工所擁有的核心技術擷取出來並內化為企業本身之能力,為企業提升競爭優勢的重要課題,至於如何將其所擁有的核心技術擷取出來具有實務上困難。 由於核心技術知識具有內隱性與複雜性的特色,增加了技術擷取過 程的困難與不確定性。為能確實了解企業以量產製造為導向的技術知識之特性,並具體深入其技術擷取過程中涉及的知識管理活動,以解析出阻礙技術操作與認知的問題點,此知識外顯化與擷取之過程有其重要性,此乃本研究主要動機。 而螺絲廠商因為吵雜、空汙、油漬與濕熱等工作環境,更是傳統產 業中較為嚴重者,所以員工素質普遍較低。而如何讓相關技術知識能有效管理、運用與改善就是很重要的課題。本研究主要是針對A 個案公司,透過訪談、觀察法與一些實務作業手法,將核心操作技術,從資深的技術人員之中擷取出來,並據以建構務實的知識擷取步驟。 經過實證個案研究後,得知知識擷取可以透過技術知識核心組織的 組成、失效模式與效應分析(FMEA)運用、知識樹的結構進行知識分 類,再利用實務個案、電子媒體的運用與社群運作,強化知識擷取運作。

In dramatically competitive and unstable business process, “knowledge” is an essential property in the times of knowledge econ omy,even being a major weapon in the competition. However, as regards in thedisadvantaged traditional industry, technique knowledge for business needs becomes an important knowledge type, which is most owned by some senior and experienced workers. Therefore, for most OEM or ODM manufacturers in Taiwan, how to acquire this core technique from the senior and experienced workers and to transform it into the power of the e nterprise, and then to promote the competitive advantages, has practical difficulties. Due to the complicated and recessive characters of technique knowledge, they increase the difficulty and uncertainty during the process of technique acquisition. In order to certainly realize the character s of manufacture-based technique knowledge, and then to be able to analyze the problems of obstructing technique operation and cognition after specifically exploring the knowledge manipulate, which is involved in the process of technique acquisition, the explicitation of knowledge and its process of acquisition are significant. And this is the main reason for this study. As result of noise, air pollution, oil sludge, moistness and hotness of the working environment, the screw industry is even the most critical traditional one. Thus, the quality of the workers is generally lower. In this instance, how to effectively managing, applying, and improving the technique knowledge to this type of industry is the major question. The primary research in this study is aimed at A company, which is one of the screw indust ries. According to interviews, observations, and some practical working devices, the researcher concretes a useful knowledge extraction model by extracting the traditional operative core technique from the senior and experienced workers. According to the result of this case study, knowledge acquisition can be acquired by forming core technique knowledge, applying the tool of f ailure mode and effect analysis(FMEA), classifying the structure of knowledge tree; in addition, making use of the practical case study, electronic media, and community, to strengthen the knowledge acquisition.
