國際航空業使用生質燃料之SWOT分析

A SWOT analysis of biofuel applications for the global aviation industry

摘要


為達成環保和經濟兼容的環保趨勢,近年來航空業尋求發展永續性生質燃料,投入航機使用,降低二氧化碳等溫室氣體排放,並試圖解決未來能源安全等危機。航空公司涉及生質燃料產業活動中,與產業利害關係人互動密切,從參與試航進展到進入商業化使用,衡量企業內部環境優、劣勢,以及外部經濟環境中的機會、威脅,因此發展出不同類型的策略模式。 本研究鑑於我國航空產業的生質燃料發展仍在測試實驗階段,藉由回顧國際航空產業發展生質燃料的現況、生質燃料永續性評估以及航空公司採用生質燃料的商業模式,以文獻歸納法、SWOT分析與TOWS矩陣,針對航空產業使用生質燃料的內外環境的說明,分析國際間航空公司參與生質燃料發展各階段中的商業策略,以利航空業者與業管單位參考。

The aviation industry has taken many practical measures to meet its environmental goals. Various companies and international organizations have shown a growing interest in the development of aviation sustainable biofuels in the past decade. In considering the internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, of using biofuels, airlines have developed various business models, establishing partnership with related stakeholders for conducting biofuel pilot flights or even scheduled flights. This paper aims to review the current situation of the international aviation biofuel industry from internal and external environment, and to focus on sustainability assessment and the business models of biofuel applications for international airlines. Through literature review, the combination of SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix, then the business strategies identified for airlines involved in the different stages of biofuel development. The research results and biofuel strategies will provide to airline business and aviation administrations.
