私人銀行在歐洲與美國都是成長最快、獲利最多之金融產業。但在台灣,都是處於起步階段而已。 源於文藝復興時代重商主義之經濟發展,私人銀行可說是最古老之財富管理。由於現代生活之複雜性,富人們及其家庭需要更多專家之建議,並付出可觀費用來維持他們在投資上之獲利與成功。 事實上而言,私人銀行提供給客戶任何他們所想要之服務。從財富管理、資金移轉、投資資產配置,買一艘遊艇到溜狗,私人銀行都可滿足客戶群之需要;或許,我們可以說私人銀行是最客戶導向之行業了。 在本研究中,我試著找出私人銀行在台灣所面臨之種種問題,並替M金控如何進入私人銀行產業提出可行性之建議,希冀透過金融界之努力讓台灣成為華人世界之私人銀行中心之美夢早日成真。
Private banking is one of the highest growth and most profitable financial businesses in Europe and USA, but it is still a new business model of wealth management in Taiwan. Originating in the mercantile economies of Renaissance, private banking is the oldest manifestation of money management. Today, the complexity of modern life drove the need for specialist advice more and more, and private banks with their concentration on taking deposits from wealthy individuals and families and managing their investments for a fee to built successful and profitable business. In truth, private banking is any service the client wants it to be. Be it wealth management, money transmission, portfolio management, the delivery of a yacht or walking the dog, maybe we could say that private banking is the ultimate client-led business. In this research, I intend to find many aspects of environment issues about private banking in Taiwan and suggest a possible way for Mega Group to entry this profitable business. With all our efforts, perhaps one day Taiwan may be the center of Private banking in Chinese world.
