本研究從資源基礎理論,透過深入個案研究法探討中小型家族企業如何在資源有限之下將資源做最有效率的管理以創造最大的價值。研究訪談結果顯示,中小型家族企業透過資源管理三步驟,資源評估、資源剝離以及資源添加的方式將資源做最有效的配置,資源的價值是隨著企業不同的發展階段中有所變化的。家族企業中透過家族成員涉入、互動所創造出獨特的家族資源在資源重新配置過程當中扮演關鍵的角色。透過家族成員間溝通協調、合作,與家族企業歷史條件之下所建立的內隱知識所形成的障礙,競爭對手將難以將其學習與模仿。因此家族資源能夠協助企業轉型以及將資源做最大的延伸,成為組織競爭優勢之來源。
This research tries to find out how small and medium family businesses manage their resources in order to maximize their value. The result shows that small and medium family businesses manage resources in three stages, including the resource inventory, resource bundling, and resource leveraging. The value of resources varies in different stages of enterprise development. Family members create unique family resources by involvement and interaction, and they play a major role in resource allocation. Tacit knowledge embedded in the communication and coordination among family members and unique family history is difficult for competitors to learn and imitate.
