The following thesis provides a broad overview of the factors and unique national characteristics that had influenced B2C e-commerce diffusion in Honduras. Many of them are crucial for the continuous growth and development of B2C e-commerce in the country. This study address the role of each of this factors, the actual situation of them in the country and how the consumption patterns by individuals are changed due to this factors. An analysis was provided using some economic indicators that were suggested to have an effect on online purchasing by using the time series analysis and a correlation analysis. The findings suggested that online purchases have a significance relationship with factors such as exchange rate, remittances, monthly economic index, gasoline prices and consumer price index.
