In recent years, Taiwan’s financial industry has developed quite rapidly, where the insurance industry’s penetration rate and market competition being the most obvious. Therefore, in such a competitive industry, operating performance of various insurance companies has become the focus of attention. However, in the past study, most of them only studied the performance of the insurance companies in terms of supervision, corporate governance, and structure. Therefore, unlike the previous study, this study will focus on the nine indicators of insurance companies’ claims and litigation, as well as the visibility information obtained. And to explore whether these indicators will affect the operating performance of various insurance companies, and to clarify these issues one by one to make up for the inadequacies of the previous study. The research results of this study are as follows: nine indicators of insurance companies’ claims and litigation, as well as the visibility information obtained, will indeed affect the operating performance of an insurance company, but the life insurance companies are affected more severely. However, the performance of the property company will only be affected when there is actually an increase in the number of applications for insurance claims.
