運用資料探勘探討讀者借閱率之研究-以中原大學張靜愚紀念圖書館為例

摘要

在這資訊爆炸及科技發達的年代，從大量的資料中取得有用的資訊或知識運用在合適的方法裡以推薦給需要的決策者是一件不簡單的事情。圖書館為一席存放龐大知識之處且有豐富的圖書資源卻往往被忽略或無法完全被發掘，如何使得圖書館在空間及人力有限內但能有效主動提供豐富的資源給讀者且能提升與讀者之間的互動。
以中原大學張靜愚紀念圖書館為例，近幾年來中原大學圖書館的借書人次開始下降。本論文使用資料探勘分析大量讀者的歷史借閱資料（只針對大學部、研究生）以發掘出有用的資訊，提供給決策者讀者的借閱書籍習慣、分析讀者每年借書的趨勢、問卷調查讀者對於圖書館的了解和使用率、提出建議推廣圖書館的活動，期能成為圖書館的參考。

With vigorous development of the Internet in this era of knowledge explosion, it’s simple to see lots of data increased, but it’s not easy to find useful knowledge or information from large data. The Library includes aiding education, research, raising the academic level of university and the capabilities of students. Therefore, how the readers utilize the resources of library more effectively is a problem that is worthwhile as a case of study.
This research integrated data from the check-out history of Chang Ching Yu Memorial Library in Chung Yuan Christian University using Data Mining. Applying Data Mining techniques to cluster from readers’ check-out history, based on decision tree to classify different characteristic, rules, and exposition for groups. This research expects to provide a useful reference for improving the Readers’ Borrowing Rate of library.
