摘要

本研究主要在探討情境相似性對錯誤記憶的影響。藉由改變電腦螢幕上所呈現之記憶項目的背景顏色及位置組合來操弄情境相似性，進而觀察物理情境相似性對真實記憶與錯誤記憶的影響。研究結果顯示情境相似性對於真實記憶的表現有發揮影響力，學習與測驗階段若為相同情境時會增加真實記憶的表現，而不同情境下則會減少真實記憶的表現。更重要的是，本研究顯示錯誤記憶同樣受到情境相似性的調節，情境相同時的錯誤記憶比情境相異時的錯誤記憶要高。

The study investigated the effect of contextual similarity on false memory. The context was manipulated by varying the background color and the location of the stimulus in the study and test phases. The to-be-recognized stimulus was presented in either the same or a different context as it was learned in the study phase. The results revealed that correct recognition was higher when the study and test contexts were the same than when they were different. In addition, false recognition was affected by contextual similarity in the same manner: false recognition was higher in the same-context condition than in the different-context condition. The findings show the importance of contextual similarity to false memory.
