企業運用群組軟體之個案研究 －以Lotus Notes 為例

近數十年來，企業界普遍運用電腦，但辦公室內整體生產力並未明顯提高；群體工作中因工作參與者時間不一致與所在空間的限制，因而溝通、協調佔據了大部分工作時間，以致工作效率低落、品質無法提昇。群組軟體即針對工作群體（Work Group）而發展出來的產品，其目的是為了促進組織間之溝通協調及資源共享，藉以充份發揮群體工作之效益。對於國內群組軟體在其發展之初，都屬於2-tier的架構；但在Internet盛行後，企業內部普遍使用Internet後，內部資料與資訊為了能在Web上顯現出來，面臨了e化的問題。雖然它們都具有其不同的產品特色、主要設計功能及應用系統架構。然而Lotus Notes在過去國內長期經營下市場佔有率最高，目前仍在國內大企業中佔有一席之地。過去國內很少有針對企業長期使用Lotus Notes 的狀況作深入的研究，因此透過組織內不同成員的觀點，探討個案公司使用Lotus Notes實際應用情形及衍生出來的優缺點來深入訪談，加以整理分析。並從群組軟體的觀點來看Lotus Notes未來發展，再以學術研究的角度與實際企業訪談分析的研究結論，研究發現出兩種有趣的結論，同時提出研究建議和以供後續研究之參考。

Abstract Enterprises have widely utilized computers in recent decades while the integral productivity in certain offices do not therefore rise. Because of the timing inconsistency and the limitation of working space, the unities in a working group may spend lot of time to communicate with the others. Low working efficiency and quality will become an inevitable consequence. Grouping software is then an outcome to specially deal with working group problems. Its purpose is to promote the communication and resource sharing between organizations, and to fully enhance the working benefit. In the very beginning of the development of our domestic grouping software, 2-tier structure was introduced. However, when Internet becomes popular and was widely introduced throughout enterprises, another problem is revealed in order to display internal data or information on Web, despite they have different product features, main design functions and application system structures. Lotus Notes, under a long-term operation and management, it still possesses the majority of domestic enterprise market. A thorough research of the utilization status of Lotus Notes in enterprises is rarely studied in pass years. Therefore, through different point of view from the members in an organization, this thesis studies the actual use status of Lotus Notes in an individual case and interview those employees regarding the advantages/disadvantages about using Lotus Notes. The results were then analyzed and sorted. On the other hand, from the outlook of grouping software’s future development, in conjunction with academic study viewpoint and the analytical conclusion from actual visitation of many enterprises, there are two interesting results were found. In the meanwhile a suggestion was proposed for subsequent study.
