商業空間之六標準差設計品質分析研究

摘要


商業空間設計品質在現今與消費福祉、消費心理、企業獲利有密切的關係。在商業空間設計品質占著重要的角色下,設計者能否擁有有效且可靠的設計構思方法即相對的重要。 空間設計領域中,在對「如何構思出一具品質的商業空間設計?」之議題探討不足下,本研究即選擇從品質管理界之文獻,探討品質定義,並從現今被品管界推崇之品質設計方法───「六標準差設計」中,探詢有助商業空間設計達品質定義之構思方法。本研究主要目的包括:探討六標準差設計有助商業空間設計達品質之處、提出商業空間設計達品質要求之構思參考。研究範圍主要在對心理層面的品質做探討。執行內容包括:1.以品質相關文獻探討品質之要求,以做為研究之基礎;2.以六標準差設計相關文獻與對商業空間設計專業者之探索性訪談,分析六標準差設計有助商業空間設計處;3.以商業空間設計相關文獻與實質之商業空間設計體驗資料,探討商業空間設計鎖定品質目標之方式;4.綜合上述之執行,提出商業空間設計達到品質要求之構思方式參考。 本研究以「品質為在越少的資源損失下,真正打動人心」做基礎,此品質要求一方面反映設計資源的最適運用,一方面反映設計目標鎖定的正確性。主要的研究發現包括:1.六標準差設計之「辨識」、「最適化」、「驗證」、與「發展」階段中「概念評估與概念分析」等概念,有助商業空間設計達品質要求中「在最少的品質浪費下」之部分。2.商業空間達品質要求中「真正打動人心」之構思架構,是由商業空間所持有之空間特質探討而來,其中與品質相關之空間特質包括:「吸引」、「情牽」、「驚奇」、「再吸引」、「轉能」。3.商業空間達品質整體要求之構思參考,在於架構出「商業空間六標準差設計」。本研究之探討可做為相關人員之參考。

The quality of commercial space design continues to command an inseparable foothold in consumer equity, consumer psychology and business profitability. With the important role that the quality of commercial space design commands, it is becoming increasingly importance in terms of how the designer is able to come up with effective and consistent means of design conception. In the domain of space design, where the topic of “How best to conceive commercial space design that offers quality” remains underrated, the study has chosen to examine the definition of quality through quality management publications and to examine means of conception that benefits commercial space design that helps to achieve the definition of quality through the quality design methodology – “Design For Six Sigma, DFSS” much sought after by the quality control sector presently. The study’s main objectives pertain to examining how the DFSS is able to help bring quality to commercial space design, and then to proposing conceptual references that help to bring commercial space design in line with prescribed quality demands. The scope of this study mainly encompasses on examining the psychological aspects of quality. The content of the study execution comprises of, 1) To explore the definition of quality through reviewing archival publications for building a research foundation; 2) To analyze how the DFSS can benefit commercial space design by examining DFSS related publications and explorative interviews with field commercial space design operators; 3) To explore the means for zeroing in on quality objectives in commercial design by examining commercial space design related publications and factual commercial space design experience data; 4. To propose reference conceptualization methodology that helps to attain the definition of quality in commercial design. The study aims to focus on the definition of “Quality being with minimal resource depletion for maximum emotional moving results” as the premises, where the definition is made to reflect a maximum adaptation of design resources on the one hand, and to reflect the accuracy of the design objectives locked in on the other. The study has unveiled that, 1) The “Conceptual assessment and conceptual analysis” under the DFSS’s identification, optimization, validation and development phases are found to be beneficial in closing in the quality demand of “minimizing resource depletion” in commercial space design; 2) The conceptual framework of being “Emotionally moving” that help to achieve the quality definition in commercial space has derived from examining the spatial characteristics unique to a commercial space, in which the quality-related spatial characteristics consist of attraction, emotional association, wonderment, reminiscence, and energy transference; 3) The conceptual reference in the overall definition of attaining quality in commercial space lies in mapping out a “Commercial space’s DFSS”. And the study’s explorative findings are intended to provide references to relevant industry operators.
