古蹟修復中史料發現之研究:以臺南三山國王廟及二鯤身砲臺為例

摘要
由於國內的古蹟保存與維護發展，從著重在古蹟觀念的宣導、提升學術研究品質、建立行政人事體系、培訓傳統工匠，到加強日常管理維護、防災觀念、現代科技以及古蹟的再利用，均已投注相當心力，並獲致不少成果。但對於古蹟修復中史料之發現及其因應之道，並未做出明確的規範，以致於不是毫無所知，便是在不經意中發現，卻礙於為施工帶來的困擾及變更設計的麻煩，而多有所保留，對古蹟修復的史實性探索，顯然是一項嚴重的損失。為此，本論文試從古蹟修復本身「史料」的發現以及其對古蹟的歷史實證的重要性等方向探討，綜合調查研究報告及古蹟修復實例，提出一些個人的看法。研究方法則試圖彙整古蹟相關國內外文獻、學術研討會論述、修復工作報告書以及實際案例，分析古蹟修復中有關史料的發現、內容與類別；田野調查及實際案例則以古蹟修復工程各項施工流程及個人從事古蹟修復實際工作經驗之臺南三山國王廟以及二鯤身砲臺為例，舉例說明古蹟清理前應具備高度的敏感度以及清理後專業研判力的重要。利用文獻整理法、田野調查法、史料研判法以及綜合整理分析法等方法交錯進行，以建立系統化的工具理論，從而做為執行史料發掘程序及方法的建構以及研判的依據，以達到對古蹟修復中史料的發現更深入的研判與掌控之參考。

Abstract
The preservation and maintenance of monuments in Taiwan have emphasized on education about the history of monuments, improving the research quality, establishing administrative system, training craftsman of traditional techniques, strengthening the routine management and maintenance, disaster prevent concepts, modern technology application, and reuse of the monuments, and fruitful results have been achieved. However, no clear specifications have been made on the discovery of historical materials in the works of monuments restoration, thus, the consequences include lack of knowledge, or intentional retaining after accidental discovering because of fearing the discovery may bring problems and modification of the design. It is indeed a serious loss to the historical exploration of the monument restoration. Therefore, this paper discusses the discovery of the historical materials of monument restoration and its importance to the historical materials. After reviewing cases on monument restorations reported worldwide, personal opinions are proposed. The research methods include review of literatures, academic publications, restoration reports, and case studies, in order to analyze the discovery, content and types of historical materials from monument restoration. The field investigation and case studies included Tainan San-Sun Kings Temple and Fort An-Ping, and examples are given on the high sensitivity required before the clean-up and professional judgment after the clean-up. Using literature review, field investigation, review of historical materials, and composite analysis, this study establish systematic tool theory for reference to discovering procedures, construction method, and judgment of historical materials, so as to gain better judgment and control over the historical materials on monument restoration.
