The study examines the relationship between strategic alliances, top management team, culture, and innovation performance. The empirical results show that the higher of the proportion of female managers, the higher of strategic alliances adoption. On the contrary, the lower of the proportion of female managers, the lower of strategic alliances adoption. Closeness culture has a significant positive association with exploitation alliances. Strategic alliances have a significant positive association with innovation performance.
