日治時期臺灣國有鐵道機關庫之研究

摘要

臺灣自清領時期始引進軌道運輸，至日治時期鐵路系統趨於成熟，縱貫線與臺東線各大驛均有設置機關庫，而有些驛只單獨設置轉車台。現今僅剩縱貫線苗栗機關庫與彰化機關庫尚有完整的空間配置可窺究，彰化機關庫為臺灣僅存現役中的扇形機關庫，民國90年(2001)被指定為彰化縣市定古蹟，並獲選臺灣十大土木史蹟之一。如今因經濟發展政策導向，臺灣鐵路管理局著手推動彰化市鐵路高架化，不論最後選定何種線路方案，彰化機關庫勢必受到衝擊。筆者希冀透過日治時期臺灣機關庫之發展歷程研究，確立鐵道檢修機關庫之文化資產價值，使之能正確地被保存與活化再利用。
本研究使用臺灣總督府交通局鐵道部年報與鐵道線路一覽圖為核心史料，並以歷史研究法為主，蒐集歷史文獻並輔以現場調查紀錄。探討日治時期臺灣國有鐵道線路發展中機關區地點設置因素，嘗試拼湊各個機關庫的歷史資料與空間配置。研究結果為苗栗矩形機關庫為臺灣第一座電氣機關庫，具有劃時代的意義，而彰化扇形機關庫自日治時期始見證了臺灣鐵道機關車之動力與檢修技術的發展，其歷史意義與文化價值遠大於經濟利益，持續運轉中的產業文化資產才能撼動人心。

Ching Dynasty in Taiwan since the beginning of the introduction of rail transport, railway system Sunday mature colonial period , the major north-south line and Taitung Station authorities have set up the library , while others set up a separate relay only turntables . Today the only remaining organ bank and the main line , Miaoli , Changhua authorities still complete spatial configuration of the library may glimpse studies, Changhua Taiwan authorities libraries remaining active in the library sector agencies , the Republic of 90 years ( 2001 ) is designated as a fixed Changhua counties monuments, and was elected one of the ten civil Historic Taiwan . Today, due to the economic development policy orientation, Changhua, Taiwan Railway Administration started pushing the elevated railway technology , regardless of what the final solution selected lines , Changhua authorities library is bound to be affected. I hope in the course of the development of Taiwan authorities library research through the Japanese colonial period , railroad maintenance authority to establish the value of assets of cultural library , so that it can properly be saved and adaptive re-use .

This study uses the Taiwan Governor Department of Transportation and the Ministry of Railways Annual Pictured core historical railway lines , and historical research -based, supplemented by collecting historical documents and records of the site investigation . Explore the development of Taiwan's state-owned railroad line organ area locations set during the Japanese occupation of factors, try to piece together the history of the various organs of the library data and spatial configurations. The results of Taiwan's Miaoli rectangular library authorities first electric organ libraries, epoch-making significance , and Changhua library sector bodies from the Japanese colonial period witnessed the beginning of the development of Taiwan 's railway locomotive power and maintenance technology, its historical and cultural significance value is much greater than the economic benefits of the industry continue to operate in order to stir the hearts of cultural assets .
