台北捷運公共藝術的場域設置之研究

A study of the setting for the public art at the Taipei MRT field

摘要


捷運是未來大台北都市的重點交通建設,在不斷開設新站的過程,捷運宛如市區公車一般普遍,臺北捷運的發展未來就像是東京地鐵一般以星狀分布的方式散布整個城市,然後人們在捷運站場中看到公共藝術的頻率會高過一般公共藝術的設置,在如此頻繁的閱讀下,公共藝術是否深刻的記在大眾的腦海中呢?可能並不盡然,這豈不是相當可惜的事情,既然捷運站場是那麼重要的一件事情,那麼公共藝術是不是也應該具備同等價值的存在呢?   本研究探究捷運空間本身和公共藝術之間的關係,發現從管理層面來看、或是從藝術家、大眾的角度來看,他們所關心的議題皆然不同,但是其中他們都同樣關心的是「視覺品質是否混亂」、「有什麼意涵」的議題,既然如此,本研究藉由捷運公共藝術設置後的使用情況來評估作品設置是否達到空間和民眾的需求,從管理單位、民眾、創作者的角度來看,顯然他們所在乎的問題截然不同,不過就探討的出發點都在於討論公共藝術設置的是否美觀、意涵何謂…等等相關問題。因此期望透過直接觀察、紀錄的方式來進行用後評估的調查,瞭解在短暫的5分鐘內大眾對公共藝術的第一反應,以直觀體驗來理解捷運空間,以提升公共藝術具有存在性的實際價值,並訂定捷運公共藝術的使用評估準則來控制設置需求,以增加達到目的的可及性。   本研究從文獻回顧中彙整出捷運公共藝術的場域構面作初步的假設理論架構,進而透過「雙連‧行遠」、「時間‧碎片」、「手之組曲」、「捷運‧碼頭」、「輕鬆的雲、走路的樂」、「天地人」、「牧場」、「偷窺」、「成長」等九個捷運公共藝術的實際觀察,根據使用者在捷運場域中的環境行為捕捉公共藝術在場域中所扮演的角色。最後,歸納出捷運公共藝術設置構面的理論架構,其具備支撐捷運公共藝術的設置情形並得到強化,並提出公共藝術設置在不同的捷運場域之中,會因應場域個性而調整作品場域構面的條件,皆建立在這個理論架構的原則下。期望在捷運建設發展到一個階段的同時,能夠為捷運空間的藝術層面整理出一個可循的索引。

The development of Taipei MRT is the future focus for the Taipei transportation construction.In the process of constantly opening new stations in Taipei MRT, Taipei MRT are tend to be use by people who live in Taipei as generally as they use city bus, in this situation, the future development of the Taipei MRT would like Tokyo subway star distributed manner generally spread throughout the whole city.Under this circumstance, people who live in Taipei will have more chance to see the public art in Taipei due to the frequency they use the MRT system compare to see the public art settings in the other public area. However, whether public art can be keep in peoples mind profoundly through this Taipei MRT system widely construction through the whole city?In my opinion, public art setting should be seen as important as the construction of Taipei MRT due to that fact that they are both a part of development for our public area, which brings prosperity and beauty into our city.   In this article, we explored the relations between the construction of Taipei MRT and the setting of the public art in Taipei MRT station from manage levels, artist angle and masses opinion. Nevertheless, the result all shows that the meaning of construction and visual quality of this setting are the main reasons for the decision making to build it.Therefore, this research will star from the analysis of the demanding for the Taipei MRT after setting and divide into two parts; the visual quality satisfaction of Taipei MRT as well as the practicality for the people who lived in Taipei.Also, through the observation and the survey from the people who just used it after within five minute for understanding people’s impression toward the public art the Taipei MRT station that can prove the necessity of the public art setting for the publics. From this method, not only helping with realize where should we star to build and improve those public art settings but also can enhance the efficiency of public art setting.   In this study, compiled from the literature review in the field of public art MRT facets preliminary theoretical framework of assumptions, and thus through the "Double‧line far",Time‧debris", "Suite of hands", "MRT‧Terminal","Easy clouds, walking music ","Heaven,earth ,human","Ranch ","Peeping ","Grow "in nine public art in actual observations, as well capture the role of public art dominate in the public area by according to the user’s environmental behavior that they present in the real MRT Field.   Finally, summarize the theory framework of the public art setting design which contain strongly supporting content for building the public art design, also prove that public work should be adjust its own design due to be settle in the different area.This discussion is target to summaries useful information for promoting the public art settings conscious and expecting which is hopefully can be help with providing the public art settings ideas in the public area while Taipei MRT station has been constructed to a proper stage.
