射出成型參數條件對於藍光光碟片 外殼收縮率之研究

中文摘要 目前模具發展的方向均以電子資訊、通訊產業為主,講求輕薄小 巧、產品週期短,產品的設計需求也變得更形複雜。所以了解各射出 成型參數對成型件收縮的影響將有助於模具之開發。因此建立收縮率 資料及利用模流分析模擬塑膠射出,將可有效的取代部份傳統的試誤 法進而減少模具開發時程及提高模具之精密性。 本研究為射出成型參數條件對於藍光光碟片外殼收縮率之研 究,研究中以ABS做為此案例之材料,依其材料特性來訂定成型參數 範圍及十五組成型參數,分別對其射出速度、熔膠溫度、模具溫度、 保壓壓力,保壓時間作一定的改變,以研究其對收縮率的影響。研究 中以DeMeet 220型高精度影像及接觸兩用三次元量測儀,將成型品取 八點,分別量測各兩點間之距離,並需要測量在室溫下模具表面同樣 兩點之間的距離來計算出收縮率。研究中並使用Moldflow作模擬和實 際射出成型品做比對進行驗證其電腦模擬是否有參考的價值。 實驗結果顯示實際射出與電腦模擬,除了模具溫度表現較沒有參 考價值外,其它所得數值繪成之趨勢圖,大致呈現相同之趨勢有其參 考價值,保壓壓力在75%、95%及保壓時間在1.3s、1.9s時,收縮率均 由0.65%降至0.6%以下,ABS成型收縮率受保壓壓力、保壓時間的影 響最為顯著。電腦模擬可取代部份以往傳統的試誤法,進而節省試模 時間。實驗和模擬各段收縮率表現不盡相同,原因為分子排向在電腦 模擬上無法模擬之故。由此研究結果得知收縮率不是成型材料固有的 物性,若在模具及成型環境、硬體設備均固定之條件下;其收縮率將 隨著成型參數改變而改變。

Abstract The direction of mold development is mainly the electronic industry and information communication industry at present and the part shape is more thin, light and small. Realizing the influence of shrinkage in injection parameters will be useful in mold development. Building the data base of shrinkage and using the simulation software will reduce the road of mold development and advance the quality of the mold In this study, the material was ABS polymer. According to the material properties, it was set up 15 groups of injection parameter including the injection rate, melt temperature, mold temperature, packing pressure, packing time to study those influence in shrinking rate. The shrinkage was measured the each distance of the part compare with the corresponding position of mold by DeMeet 220 type. Besides, using the Moldflow simulation software verified shrinking rate variation . The experimental results show that the mold temperature is not relative trends to simulation, but the other parameters have the same trends with simulation. The shrinkage reduces from 0.65% to 0.6% in packing pressure from 75% to 95% and packing time from 1.3s to 1.9s. It is the most obvious that the material of ABS were influenced by packing pressure and packing time, there are some differences between the experiment and simulation of the result, because the orientation of molecule can not be simulated in CAE. Shrinkage is not an inherent property of injection material when the conditions of the injection environment and equipment were fixed its shrinkage will change as the injection parameters change.
