以虛擬實境方法探討戶外開放空間之停留行為與空間元素之關連性

摘要


近年來科技發展迅速,電腦影像呈現手法愈來愈多元化,人們對於影像呈現的效果品質要求也越來越高。3D影像技術發展成熟之後,細緻的影像畫質與寬廣的螢幕尺寸已經無法滿足消費者視覺需求,人們開始追求更為擬真的視覺享受,影像科技也開始往虛擬實境領域發展。 在近代科技的發展下,空間設計與規劃裡常使用電腦繪圖與虛擬圖面作為設計概念溝通、檢討的工具。在虛擬實境出現後,更加擬真的視覺技術是否能以更貼近真實情形的方式,做為研究的新有效工具? 本實驗以虛擬實境方式,在以往文獻結果的基礎上探討戶外開放空間中人的停留位置選擇與空間元素之間的關聯性,研究結論如下:。 一、「虛擬實境」方法對於空間設計規劃中具可信度,並受大多數受測者喜愛。 二、在不同的等待行為中,共同偏好的空間元素為提供「遮蔭」的樹與「有小坐機能」的椅子以及良好的「視覺元素」景觀水池,以及提供「遮蔽感」的空間元素。 三、不同的停留行為裡,所選擇的停留位置中所偏好的空間元素與組合,有相當的相似性。差異在「遮蔽感」與「半遮蔽」空間元素的取捨,其停留行為「隱私性」的需求是影響取捨的關鍵元素。 四、在「視覺元素」的景觀水池中,人們較為偏好尺度較矮的水池,「矮水池」在視覺上讓人感覺更為貼近,並且認為更能夠感受到水面吹來的涼風,故較願意接近或將視角放在矮水池上。

The requirement of image quality has increased because of the diversification of computer graphics from rapid evolution of image computing. With the maturity of the 3D imaging technology, detailed image quality and widescreen have been unable to meet the visual needs of consumers. People began to pursue more realistic visual enjoyment, and imaging technology started to develop in the field of virtual reality(VR). Under this circumstance, it is very common to use computer and virtual graphics as a communication and reviewing tool of the spatial design concept. After the emergence of virtual reality(VR), could more realistic visual technology be closer to the real situation as a new and effective research tool? Based on the results of previous literatures, this study explores the relationship between location selection and spatial elements in outdoor open space through virtual reality(VR). The conclusions are as follows. 1.Using “Virtual Reality” as a research approach is reliable for spatial design planning, and is favored by most subjects. 2.Among various waiting behaviors, common preferred spatial elements are trees that provide “shade”, benches where people could “rest”, pool landscape that creates pleasant “visual element”, and spatial objects which provide “sheltered feelings”. 3.There are considerable similarities within the spatial elements and combinations when selecting staying positions in different waiting behaviors. Differences are the selection between “sheltered” and “semi-sheltered” spatial objects. The demand for “privacy” is the key factor to affect the staying behavior. 4.Among the “visual element” pool landscapes, pool with lower edge is preferred. An “lower edge pool” could make people feel visually closer to it, hence could better feel the breeze blowing from the pool surface. Therefore, people are more willing to get closer or look to the short edge pool.
