摘要

海洋科技博物館從2013年成立至今，以海科館內部的各層為不同主題作為展示，寄望民眾能夠多認識台灣的海洋生態，更能深刻認識台灣是個島嶼國家，將主題分為不同館層，主要分為生態、食品、地球科學、船舶，皆與台灣海洋生態有關，民眾也隨著主題的不同，在各個主題館的參觀人數也大有差異性，觀察到這樣的特殊現象，針對展示做研究分析，研究出形成現象的原因，幫助參訪者更容易參觀海洋科技博物館。

本研究主要研究項目為:
一、探討博物館本身建築的設計背景，分析其博物館建築物的設計流程及語彙。
二、講述展示廳地此展示設計作分析，先分析其展示設計之特點及語彙，找尋大量文獻資料及原設計師的概念構成做比較

研究的樣本是來自於館方的資料以建築設計者、展示設計者所提出的設計概念加以分析。再來直觀針對參觀者進行問卷訪談，將訪談彙整後進行分析，得知此展示設計對參觀者的影響。
研究的樣本是來自於展示設計本身和參觀者的直觀，將兩者輔以空間語彙分析、展示方式的設計，規劃出此主題最好的展示設計方式之建議。
其最終目的，是能改善其展示設計的硬直、不有趣性。成果能讓參觀者感到舒適並且徹底其了解海洋知識的有趣之處。

Abstract

Since its founding in 2013, the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology has been fostering an understanding of Taiwan’s marine ecosystems and her identity as an island country. The museum has exhibits of different themes on all its levels. These themes include ecology, food, earth science and boats, all having to do with Taiwan’s ecosystems. The number of visitors to each level varies greatly due to the visitors’ interests. The purpose of this research and analysis on the presentation format of the exhibition was to enable visitors to have a better experience while touring the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology：

1. To conduct analysis of the exhibition hall’s design, we first analyzed its exhibition design characteristics and verbiage, and sought out large volumes of written materials and the original design concepts to conduct a comparison.
2. To discover the link between the architectural vocabulary and the local community by reviewing previous research and the original design and by comparing with other similar cases in Taiwan.
Research samples were taken from the exhibition design itself, as well as direct observations from viewers. These were supplemented with analysis of the verbiage, and the exhibition strategy of the design, so as to provide the best suggestion for exhibition design related to this topic.
The ultimate purpose of this research was to improve the exhibition design so that it would no longer be rigid or boring. The results should make the viewer feel comfortable and help the viewer thoroughly comprehend interesting facts about the ocean.
