我國大學生對通識課程之學習動機與學習滿意度研究

A Study on Students’ Learning Motivation and Learning Satisfaction to General Education Curriculums at Universities in Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在瞭解不同背景變項的我國大學生對通識課程的學習動機與學習滿意度之現況及相關性,並分析學習動機對學習滿意度之預測力,進一步根據研究結果提出建議供相關單位參考。 本研究以我國各大學院校九十七學年度第二學期大學部日間學制學生為問卷調查對象,主要採用問卷調查法輔以半結構式訪談,以自編之「我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習動機與學習滿意度調查問卷」進行調查,總計發出問卷5740份,回收5496份,去除無效問卷585份,計得有效問卷4911份,可用率為86%,所使用的統計方法,包括:描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關、典型相關及逐步多元迴歸分析等。 本研究結果如下: 一、我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習動機整體屬「中等」程度。 二、我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習滿意度整體屬「中上」程度。 三、我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習動機整體與學習滿意度整體在年級與學校類別上達顯著差異。 四、我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習動機與學習滿意度呈現顯著正相關。 五、我國大學生對通識教育課程其學習動機各層面對學習滿意度整體具有預測力。 根據上述所得結果,提出本研究對教育部、學校與未來研究之建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the present situation, and the relationships of learning motivation and learning satisfaction of the general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan. According to the findings, the study has made several suggestions to relevant units. The subjects of the study were university students from second semester in 2009 in Taiwan. The methodology was based on questionnaire and semi-structured interview. A “Questionnaire of Students’ Learning Motivation and Learning Satisfaction to General Education Curriculums at Universities in Taiwan” was developed as a research tool. The 5740 questionnaires were given out. A total of 5496 questionnaires returned and obtained 4911 valid ones after the elimination of 585 invalid ones. The valid response rate was 85.9%. All data collected were analyzed by the methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The findings of the study were summarized as follows: 1.Students’ learning motivation to general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan was in the middle level. 2.Students’ learning satisfaction to general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan was above middle level. 3.There were significant differences in students’ learning motivation and learning satisfaction to general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan in terms of grades and school type. 4.There were significant positive correlations between students’ learning motivation and learning satisfaction to general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan. 5.Students’ learning satisfaction to general education curriculums at universities in Taiwan could be efficiently predicted by the learning motivation.
