國民中學教師在職進修之研究

A Study on Teachers' In-Service Education of Junior High Schools

摘要


本研究在探討我國國民中學教師在職進修之現況。本研究採用問卷調查法,以問卷調查方式進行研究,並用自編之「我國國民中學教師在職進修之現況、動機及課程需求」之調查問卷,以國民中學教師為研究對象,採用描述性統計、t考驗、單因數變異數及Scheffe法等統計方法來分析本研究。經由研究結果分析與討論,獲得以下研究結論,分述如下: 一、國民中學教師進修意願強烈 二、國民中學教師參與的研習以校內自辦為主 三、國民中學教師最希望的進修時段為一般上班時間 四、國民中學教師在研習課程需求最高的是「學生輔導方面的專業知能」 五、國民中學教師最希望獲得實質上「晉級加薪」之獎勵 六、阻礙國民中學參與進修研習的因素為進修時間與個人時間無法配合 七、對年齡30歲以下教師,希望參與進修可以獲得外在的實質獎勵 八、任教未滿5年的教師,外在獎勵誘因能提高其參與研習的動機 九、女性教師相對重視課程實際的內容及時間的安排 十、不同背景教師對進修課程內容的需求有所差異 針對研究發現與結論,提出相關建議,以作為教育行政當局、學校行政當局以及國民中學教師之參考。

The purpose of this study is to explore the present situation of junior high school teachers’ in-service education in Taiwan. The study adopts the survey research method, and used self-made questionnaire survey to do the research. It uses the questionnaire titled “Junior high school teachers’ in-service education about present situation, motivations, and course requirements.” The participants were selected from the teachers who teach in junior high schools in Taiwan. The questionnaire survey was conducted by means of random sampling. In statistics, the researcher used the following techniques: descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe. The data was analyzed and concluded with the results. The conclusions are shown as follows: 1. Teachers like strongly to participate in in-service education. 2. Teachers like to participate in in-service education conducted by their schools inside. 3. Teachers hope to use their working hours to participate in in-service education. 4. The highest demand of the courses is the ability of student counseling. 5. Teachers hope to get more salary or promotion for participating in in-service education. 6. The main problem for teachers to participate in in-service education is because they don’t have enough time when the courses are conducted. 7. Teachers under thirty years old hope to get external substance of reward. 8. The main reason for teachers who teach less than five years to participate in in-service education is external substance of reward. 9. Female teachers emphasize the real content of the courses and what time they can participate in in-service education. 10. There are significant differences in the need of in-service courses among different background teachers. Based on the findings and conclusions, this research hopes to provide suggestions for the educational administration, the school administration and teachers who participate in in-service education.
