運用精實六標準差方法於彩色濾光片製程良率改善

摘要


本研究以精實六標準差(Lean Six Sigma)手法為主軸,利用科學方法的應用、資訊的取得與統計數據的呈現進行彩色濾光片良率改善的研究。 本研究的目的以彩色濾光片(Color Filter)製程為背景,在各製程中找出影響良率最大之製程別為改善對象,由於Color Filter為薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器(Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display,TFT-LCD)之主要部分之一,因此如何降低粒子(Particle)在製程過程中掉落於產品,來達成改善Color Filter的良率為本次研究的主要目標。其中金屬粒子對良率的傷害最大,因為金屬粒子會造成Color Filter與薄膜電晶體陣列(TFT-Array)之間的貼合後形成TFT陣列短路,而形成亮點或暗點。   定義階段,由顧客之聲轉換為關鍵品質特性並且量化與制定明確的規格。   量測階段,評估量測系統利用變異數分析法所得的結論是量測系統良好。使用柏拉圖找出前三大品質異常項目為主要改善方向。   分析階段,藉由製作因果分析矩陣(Cause & Effect Analysis Matrix),列出所有相關作業,再以主要改善項目(Business Y)及關鍵流程(Ys)關連性作加權評比,以層別出改善之主要變因(X),針對關鍵變因問題,訂定改善方案。   改善階段,藉由分析階段得到的關鍵肇因進行改善,並利用二比率分析法(Two Proportions Analysis)進行分析改善後的績效。   控制階段,主要應用管制圖來控制重要因子使製程良率得到穩定的效果。   本研究結果證實藉由精實六標準差的五個階段的實施能使製程良率由99.95%提升至99.99%,證明良率有所改善。其優點在於有明確的方法與架構,使得改善方案容易實踐。並結合統計工具,快速分析,得以在最短時間內確認針對改善方案之對策是否有所成效。

The Lean Six Sigma is the main scheme of this study.Tactic as the main use of the application of scientific methods, information acquisition and statistical data showing the yield improvement of color filters. The purpose of this study is the Color Filter process. In each process to identify yield-limiting process for improving object.Because the Color Filter is the main part of the TFT-LCD,to improve the yield of Color Filter process is the main target by preventing the particle that drop on the product.Metal particles is the greatest impact to the yield.Because the metal particles will cause the short circuit of the TFT-Array and bright or dark spots after fitting the Color Filter and TFT array (TFT-Array). In the definition phase.To convert the Voice of the Customer is the key quality characteristics and to quantify the development of clear specifications. In the measurement phase.The conclusion of estimating the measurement system is fine by using one-way ANOVA. In the analysis phase.By production of the the Cause & Effect Analysis Matrix.List all the operations and weight grade by major improvements item(BUSINESS Y) and key processes (Ys).To sift the principal variables (X) of improvement items and decision the improvement plans. In the improvement phase. To improve the key causes by the conclusion of the analysis phase,and analysis the performance by using the Two Proportions Analysis. In the control phase.To keep the result by controling the important factor with control charts. The result of this study proves the process yield can be improved from 99.95% to 99.99% by the five phase of Lean Six Sigma.To execute improvement plans easily by explicit method and frame.The advantages of Lean Six Sigma includes executing improvement plans easily by explicit method and frame.And checking the result of improvement plans at the shortest time by integrating statistical tools.
