單椅設計之創意因素構成研究

摘要


摘要 創意是優良設計最重要之因素。不管任何領域,創意的靈感自有其內在邏輯,有其發展模式。 本研究將探討創造力產品之相關理論,以設計產品中的「座具」為例,研究目的為:1、分析影響單椅設計之創意評價因素。2、了解「新奇、實用、美感」與創意之相關情形。3、探討不同個人屬性對創意評價的差異性。4、探討「新奇、實用、美感」、「個人屬性」對創意之解釋力。 本研究分質性訪談與量化問卷調查兩部分,統合專家訪談結果,以45張實驗照片為題,修訂問卷後,以統計軟體SPSS對有效問卷385份之分析結果如下: 1、以「創意總體程度」為效標變數,採用逐步迴歸分析法後,創意因素中的「美感因素二:材質扭轉」、「美感因素一:樸實對稱」、「新奇因素二:特殊構成」、「美感因素五:夢幻普普」、「新奇因素四:現代極簡」、「實用因素二:基本機能」、「美感因素三:模擬自然」、「新奇因素三:流行曲線」八項因素選入迴歸式中,解釋變異量為56.9%。 2、創意總體程度之迴歸式中,「美感因素二:材質扭轉」解釋變異量最高,達到32.9%,心理屬性為:滑順、扭曲、律動、有趣的、設計感;設計特徵為:一體成形、單一材料折柪出椅子、椅腳;坐面椅背為連續造型;表現材質的張力與材質特性。 3、不同性別、年齡、教育背景、教育程度之受測者,在新奇、實用、美感程度的評判上有顯著差異。 4、不同屬性(性別、年齡、教育背景、教育程度)之受測者,在創意總體程度中無顯著之差異。 5、座具的新奇、實用、美感等因素,與創意總體程度具有顯著正相關。 此研究希冀能提供設計師對於設計產品之發展方向之參考,以激發創造性思考,表現出創造性行為。

Abstract Creativity is certainly one of the vital elements to excellent design. The inspiration of creativity, in every field, has its own inner logic and developing mode. This study will explore theories about creative production. The work “seats” can best demonstrate the research objectives: 1. To analyze the creativity factor of the design of the seats. 2. To discuss the relation creativity has with novelty, practicability, and aesthetics. 3. To discuss how personal background affects the evaluation of creativity. 4. To discuss how novelty, practicability, and aesthetics matter to creativity. This study is based on two sources of information: qualitative interviews and quantitative questionnaires. The questionnaires have been modified based on interviews with specialists. Forty-five pictures are used with the questions. A total of 385 valid questionnaires have been received, and the results can be analyzed as follows: 1.I use the level of integral creativity as the criterion variable and apply stepwise linear regression analysis. Eight creativity factors are selected in the regression. The eight factors are esthetic factor 2: material torsion, esthetic factor 1: plain and symmetric, innovative factor 2: special component used, esthetic factor 5: dreamy and Pop art, innovative factor 4: modern and simple, practical factor 2: fundamental function, esthetic factor 3: nature simulation, and innovative factor 3: stylish and curvaceous. 2. In the regression of integral creativity, esthetic factor 2: material torsion has the highest variance explained which is 32.9%. Mental attributes are smoothness, torsion, pulsatory, and interesting. The feature of the design is using one material to make the chair seat and the chair legs. The front side and the back side are entirely-shaped to present the tension and feature of material used. 3. Interviewees with different backgrounds (sex, age, education, etc) reveal significant differences in the evaluation of novelty, practicability, and aesthetics. 4. Interviewees with different backgrounds (sex, age, education, etc) have no significant differences in the evaluation of the works’ overall creativity. 5. The seats’ novelty, practicability, and aesthetics are proportional to the overall creativity. This study has aimed at providing some guidance to products’ design for designers, and stimulating the designers’ creative thinking and creative production.
