國小二年級學生數字估計能力、線段圖判讀能力與數學學習成就相關性之研究

The Study of Relationship among the Number-line Estimation Ability, the Ability of Judgment on Line Segment Drawings and Mathematical Achievement of the Second-Graders in Elementary School

摘要


本研究目的在了解國小二年級學生的數字估計能力與線段圖判讀能力,並探討其與數學學習成就的相關性。研究樣本為桃園市某國小二年級學生137人,並以「數字估計作業」、「線段圖判讀測驗」及「學齡階段數學能力測驗」收集研究資料,其中數字估計作業分為數字對位置作業及位置對數字作業。 研究結果發現: 一、二年級學生在數線0-100的數量表徵已達到線性表徵。學生在數字對位置作業及位置對數字作業的表現有顯著差異,位置對數字作業表現優於數字對位置作業。 二、數字估計能力、線段圖判讀與數學學習成就皆有顯著相關。數字估計能力與數學學習成就為正相關,線段圖判讀能力與數學學習成就為正相關。 三、數字估計能力中的數字對位置作業及線段圖判讀能力對數學學習成就具有預測力。 最後根據研究結果提出建議,以供教學及未來相關研究之參考。 關鍵字:數字對位置作業、位置對數字作業、數學學習成就

The purposes of this study were to investigate the abilities of the number-line estimation and the judgment on line segment drawings, and to explore the relationship among the number-line estimation ability, the ability of judgment on line segment drawings and mathematical achievement. The participants in this study were 137 second graders of one elementary school in Taoyuan City, and the study used number-line estimation task, judgment on line segment drawings test and mathematical achievement test as examining tools. One of the tests, number-line estimation task, included both number-to-position task and position-to-number task. The results of this study were as follow: 1. On the 0-100 number line, the second graders’ estimates fitted the linear model. Significant differences were found between the number-to-position task and position-to-number task for the second graders. The students’ estimation ability of position-to-number task was better than number-to-position task. 2. The number-line estimation and the judgment on line segment drawings were significantly correlated with mathematical achievement. There were significantly positive correlations between the number-line estimation ability and mathematical achievement. There were significantly positive correlations between the ability of judgment on line segment drawings and mathematical achievement. 3. The abilities of the number-to-position task and the judgment on line segment drawings were the important predictors to influence the mathematical achievement. Finally, based on the findings of this study, suggestions for improving teaching and future research were discussed.
