Following the advances in technology and changes in medical models and consumption structure, the number of Chinese medicine stores are decreasing year by year due to consumer generation gap and the industry’s conservative attitudes and traditional marketing. Taiwan’s traditional Chinese medicine stores are gathered in Dadaocheng, which used to be where traditional industries (e.g., small businesses and Chinese medicine stores) flourished. With the Taipei city economy shifting eastwards in recent years, the controversy over the imbalance of regional revitalization strategies has arisen, rendering transformation of the traditional Chinese medicine industry more urgent. Traditional Chinese medicine is a precious cultural asset in Asia and is worthy of conservation. Focusing on idle spaces in Dihua Street Business District, this design study formulated a brand transformation program—Liantong traditional Chinese medicine concept store. Through literature analysis, field research, and case study, this study explored the industrial structure of Dihua street Basiness District and the history of Chinese medicine stores. Specifically, this study aimed to reshape the brand image through brand research and site analysis. By extending the cultural and geographical characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, this study adopted “extraordinary moments of everyday life” and “infiltration” as the design concepts. Accordingly, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) The incorporation of “extraordinary moments of everyday life” and “infiltration” into space design; 2) fusion between the old and the new; and 3) Create experiential sequences with traditional Chinese medicine culture.
