本研究探討環境動機對於環境責任與住宿旅館環保行為之影響程度,主要依據Pelletier, Tuson, Green –Demers, Noels與 Beaton(1998)所發展之環境動機量表,與Stone, Barnes與Montgomery(1995)所發展之環境責任概念作為研究基礎。本研究以98年度高雄地區大專學生做為研究對象,其問卷回收共520份,有效問卷為420份,有效回收率為80.77%。 研究結果顯示:1.環境動機因素構面共有4個:「內在動力」、「轉換內在動力」、「外在壓力」,與「無動力」。2.環境責任因素構面共有5個:「環境問題察覺」、「環保行為態度」、「環保行為能力」、「環境問題知識」,與「環保實際行動」。3.不同環境動機對環境責任有顯著影響,其中以「內在動力」影響程度最大。4.不同環境動機對住宿旅館環保行為有顯著影響,其中以「內在動力」影響程度最大。5.環境責任集群分析可分為4群:「環保先進型」、「環保配合型」、「環保認同型」,與「環保後覺型」。6.不同環境責任集群在住宿旅館環保行為上有顯著差異。7.不同環境責任群集在個人背景特質上,及不同個人背景特質對住宿旅館環保行為上,有部分顯著差異。
Based on the Motivation Toward the Environment Scale, designed by Pelletier, Tuson, Green-Demers, Noels and Beaton (1998), and the Environmental Responsibility, developed by Stone, Barnes and Montgomery (1995), the purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Environmental Motivation on Environmental Responsibility and Environmental Behavior of Accommodation. The questionnaires were answered by 520 tertiary students at Kaohsiung Area, and a total of 420 usable responses were collected, indicating a valid response rate of 80.77%. According to the factor analyses, there were four environmental motivation factors, including “internal motive”, “internal transferable motive”, “external pressures” and “non-motive” and five environmental responsibility factors, including “awareness to environmental problems”, “attitude to environmental behavior”, “ability to environmental behavior”, “knowledge of environmental problems”, and “environmental practical actions”. The results revealed that internal motive was the most influential factor on environmental responsibility and environmental behavior of accommodation. Moreover, four clusters were classified, involving “environmental pioneer”, “environmental follower”, “environmental approver” and “environmental latecomer”. Further examination demonstrated that the differences of environmental behavior of accommodation were significant in different environmental clusters.
