南投縣國中小教師參與輔導知能研習與專業成長關係之研究

A study on the Relationship between Participation in Counseling Workshops and the Professional Growth of Primary and Junior High School Teachers in Nantou County

摘要


本研究旨在探討南投縣國中小教師參與輔導知能研習與專業成長之關係,以瞭解不同背景變項之國中小教師參與輔導知能研習活動對其專業成長的差異情形;並根據研究結果提出相關建議,作為行政單位或學校規劃研習活動的參考。本研究之研究工具為參考相關文獻所編制之結構式問卷,問卷內容包含基本背景資料、輔導知能研習活動現況與需求量表以及教師專業知能量表。研究對象為南投縣公立國中小之教師,含主任及組長等行政人員,取樣共600人,有效樣本回收率為87.5%。所得問卷以SPSS12.0軟體,進行百分比、平均值、標準差、卡方值、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、薛費式事後比較以及Pearson積差相關等統計分析。 本研究之主要結論如下: 1. 教師對研習活動內涵偏向實務性的需求。 2. 教師參加研習活動的主要動機為自我充實以提升專業能力。 3. 時間與教學負擔的問題為教師參加研習活動的主要困擾。 4. 週三下午及寒暑假為教師最希望參加研習活動的時間。 5. 改善教師研習現況之道,應考量研習內容之目標、整體與一貫性來辦理各類研習活動。 6. 南投縣國中小教師繼續學習意願強烈,並在輔導知能專業成長層面皆有顯著成長。 本研究在教師研習活動方面提出以下建議: 1. 對教育主管單位之建議: (1)依教師需求研議研習內容,並做目標、整體與一貫性的規劃。 (2)積極改善教學與學生輔導環境。 (3)加強學生輔導實務方面的研習活動,並增加輔導研習活動場次與人數。 (4)調查教師需求,安排適宜之研習時間與師資。 (5)營造學習型組織的環境,鼓勵團隊合作分享 2. 對國中小教師之建議: (1)積極主動參與輔導知能學習活動。 (2)團隊合作學習,貢獻所知創造多贏局面。 (3)與學生家長、學校輔導資源、社區資源密切配合。 3. 對後續研究者的建議: (1)可針對此政策的推動情形來探討教師對它的看法或成果的評估。 (2)可以針對不同研究對象(如縣市政府教育處的主要承辦人員、各縣市輔導中心學校校長、主任等)進行研究,藉以探討不同對象之間對於參加研習活動的看法與需求是否有所不同。 (3)可以利用質性研究方法來進行研究,深入探究教師對於研習進修的想法。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between participation in counseling workshops and the professional growth of primary and junior high school teachers in Nantou County. The research tool employed here is a structural questionnaire based on the overseas and domestic researches. The structural questionnaire includes demographic data sheet, the current situation and demands survey of Counseling Workshops, and teachers’ professional abilities scale. Participants were 600 from the teachers of primary and junior high school teachers in Nantou County. The response rate reached 87.5%. The data were processed by SPSS 12.0 with percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square tests, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe post-hoc method and Pearson’ product-moment correlation. The major findings of this study are summarized as below: 1. Most teachers demand programs concerning of teaching practice. 2. Most teachers participate in-service programs in order to improve their professional ability of teaching. 3. Most teachers feel troublesome because of time problem and the teacher’s workload. 4. Most teachers suggest that counseling workshops be held on Wednesday afternoons and during winter or summer vacation. 5. Most teachers suggest that counseling workshops should be considering in objective, unity and coherence. 6. Most of teachers in Nantou County are very willing to keep learning and have increased in the professional growth of counseling. For further research, some suggestions are provided as below: 1. The suggestions for the education authorities: (1) Counseling Workshops should be arranged in accordance with teacher's demand and should be considering in objective, unity and coherence. (2) To improve the teaching and the counseling environment. (3) To arrange the counseling workshops about school counseling task and increase numbers of participant. (4) To investigate the teachers’ demand of counseling workshops and arrange the proper time and lecturers. (5) To build an environment of learning organization and to encourage teachers’ cooperation and sharing. 2. The suggestions for the teachers: (1) To participate in counseling workshops actively. (2) To create a beneficial environment for various parties through teamwork learning and sharing experience and knowledge. (3) To cooperate closely with parents, school guidance resources and community resources of guidance tasks. 3. The suggestions for the teachers for further research: (1) Focusing on the condition of the policy and discuss the teachers’ view or the achievement appraisal. (2) Researching on different school levels( such as the service person in charge of the education bureau in county, or the master school principals and directors of master schools) and discuss their opinions and demands of counseling workshops (3) Qualitative research approach (such as interview method) can be considered.
