南投縣國小補校成人學生中輟因素及其因應策略之研究

摘要


論文摘要 本研究旨在瞭解南投縣國小補校成人學生中途輟學之因素與因應策略,研究目的包括1.了解南投縣國小補校學生中途輟學現況2.分析南投縣國小補校學生中途輟學因素3.分析南投縣國小補校本國籍與外籍學生中途輟學因素之異同4.探究南投縣國小補校學生中途輟學之因應策略,為達成上述各項的研究目的,研究採用文獻/文件分析法、訪談法(interview method)及焦點訪談法(interview focus groups),以達到本研究的研究目的。根據研究分析結果,有下列幾項主要結論: 一、南投縣國小補校成人學生,由早先以失學民眾為主要成員,時至今日已由外籍配偶為學生主要成員,卻造成中途輟學比例逐年偏高的現象。 二、南投縣國小補校由於學生成員的多元,有不同的背景與生活環境,因而造成中途輟學有個人、工作、家庭、學校等四大因素。 三、南投縣國小補校成人學生中,本國籍與外籍配偶成人學生的中途輟學因素,其相同之處;求學為增進自信與生活適應,對教學與課程都很滿意,都喜歡拓展人際結交朋友。 四、南投縣國小補校成人學生中,本國籍與外籍配偶成人學生的中途輟學因素,其相異之處;求學目的不同,輟學主要因素不同,課程需求不同。 五、南投縣國小補校應依據輟學因素給予不同因應策略;在個人方面以提升個人能力及學習意願,環境與家庭方面以引進社會資源協助,在學校方面以改善課程教材教法因應,在特殊個案方面則給予輔導支援。 根據上述結論,提出下列各項建議,供政府等相關單位、南投縣國小補校、補校中途輟學學生,以及後續研究之參考: 一、對政府機關的建議 (一)教育部應針對補校課程綱要重新訂定,以符實際現況。 (二)重新規範補校教師進用資格。 (三)寬列預算整修建補校專用教室與設備。 (四)縣政府教育處應整合資源以利外籍配偶教育學習。 二、對南投縣國小補校的建議 (一) 課程設計應符合學生興趣與需求,由學校自主更具彈性規劃。 (二)學校應長遠規劃,充實補校教學設備以提升學習成效。 (三)教師應提升成人教學知能,多觀察敏覺「高關懷」成人學生。 (四)營造良好學習氛圍,建立同儕的支持網絡。 三、對補校中途輟學學生的建議 (一)爭取學習的機會,常跟學校保持聯繫獲取學習資訊。 (二)感謝自己的努力,也感謝家人的支持鼓勵。 四、對後續研究的建議 (一) 可做全省或選擇幾個縣市國小補校,針對輟學成人學生進行調查研究,再進行不同變項的比較,應可更具體分析輟學因素影響的強弱,以擬定相關因應措施。 (二) 可以行動研究方式,實地操作觀察研究,如何協助解決成人學生學習障礙,可以從操作中演練,獲得相關實證。

The purpose of this study was to research into the factors of elementary supplement school adult learners dropping out in Nantou County and coping strategies. The research method used in this study was document analysis, interview and interview focus groups. The objectives of this research are as follows: 1. understand the current development of the elementary supplement school adult learners in Nantou County dropping out. 2. analyze the factors of the elementary supplement school adult learners in Nantou County dropping out. 3. analyze the factors of dropping out between the native and foreign spouse students in the elementary supplement school. 4. explore the coping strategies of the elementary supplement school in Nantou County. According to the data analysis of the interviews, the findings and the recommendations are as follows: 1. The rate of dropping out for the foreign spouse students is rising. 2. The causes of dropping out contain four elements: individual, job, family and school. 3. Native students and foreign spouse students have the same factors to drop out of school, such as be confident, satisfy with curriculum and like to make friends. 4. Native students and foreign spouse students have different factors to drop out of school, such as different purpose of study and different need for curriculum. 5. According to the different factors of dropping, the school is supposed to provide suitable strategies to cope with problems. Suggestions for the educational administration: 1.To amend the program of the curriculum in the elementary supplement school. 2. To improve the recruiting teachers system. 3. To raise the budget on equipments at the elementary supplement school. 4. To promote the foreign spouse student learning effectively with resource allocation. Suggestions for schools and teachers: 1. To provide suitable curriculum to adult learners. 2. To raise the budget on equipments of the elementary supplement schools 3. To upgrade teachers’ teaching competence and more concern about adult learners 4. To create good learning atmosphere and build up learning community with other peers. Suggestions for adult learners 1. To endeavor learning opportunities for themselves. 2. To be grateful for their efforts and family support. For future studies 1. To use survey realizing the relationships between variant items. 2. To adopt Action Research gaining relative evidences.
