For most of corporate manager, they all want to extract the corporate knowledge and store them in the corporate for enhance the corporate. For the purpose, the Corporate Memory (CM) had been studied frequently in recent years. CM is a corporate knowledge which can help the corporate utilizes their resources on the right place. But in recent years, there are no studies about development the CM for design, which is the 3R Knowledge for design products. Because of the environmental issues, the current design has gradually paid attention to the Reducibility, Reusability and Recyclability (3R-abilities) of products and service of by the corporate and the governments. For helping the corporate to generate the 3R-ability relationship among components of a product family more efficient, the modularization approach is utilized in this thesis. This thesis proposes a framework of the CM which aims corporate to design their product with consideration of the 3R-abilities in the process of modularizing those products and services. It also shows a case study about how to help a corporate to sale it’s mechanical aboard with considering the mechanical’s 3R-abilities.
